NBA Playoffs Top Player Props for Tuesday, May 14

We’re at the halfway point of the Eastern and Western conferences’ playoff series as each series is playing their Game 5. Tuesday’s NBA action has a pair of playoff games knotted at two wins each as the Indiana Pacers play the New York Knicks in the early game while the Minnesota Timberwolves travel to Denver and face the defending champion Nuggets later tonight.

We have significant data to point to tonight as these two teams have faced off seven times or more counting both the regular season and playoffs. Which players should bettors count on to have a good showing Tuesday night? We’ll cover that with our top four NBA Playoff player prop bets for May 14.

Live player props data coming soon for Donte DiVincenzo.

New York Knicks’ Donte DiVincenzo OVER 3.5 Made Threes

The Knicks were pummeled in their last outing, getting outscored 19-4 during one stretch of the first quarter en route to a 121-89 victory by the Pacers in Indiana. New York shot just 33 percent from the floor in their worst playoff loss this year. Guard Donte DiVincenzo had his worst shooting out of the playoffs, hitting just 3-of-13 shots and a lone 3-point field goal in the loss.

Expect DiVincenzo to rebound tonight against the Pacers. In seven games against the Pacers, DiVincenzo has posted four or more 3-point field goals five times.

While he’s a better road performer than at home, the 6’ 4” guard will be ready to unload on Indiana to help his team take a 3-2 series lead Tuesday night and cover this player prop bet.

Live player props data coming soon for Anthony Edwards.

Minnesota Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards OVER 29.5 Points

Denver made a 14-point halftime lead stand, evening the series with a 115-107 victory over Minnesota Sunday. Despite the Nuggets victory, Denver had no answer for T’wolves guard Anthony Edwards.

The 6’ 4” shooting guard from Georgia went 16-of-25 from the field to finish with 44 points, the second time in this series he’s posted 40+ points. Few things are guaranteed in this series as its forcefully swung in favor of the road team each of the past four opportunities.

But after Nuggets guard Jamal Murray exchanged words with Edwards as the teams left the floor, expect Edwards to have a fiery response on the court and easily cover this player prop bet.

Live player props data coming soon for Pascal Siakam.

Indiana Pacers’ Pascal Siakam UNDER 7.5 Rebounds

After Indiana jumped out to their 69-41 halftime lead over New York, the Pacers rested most of their starters. One man who needed rest was forward Pascal Siakam as the 6’ 8” athlete has logged the highest amount of playoff minutes of any player on the team, averaging 35.3 minutes per game despite playing only 22 minutes in Sunday’s throttling of the Knicks.

Siakam leads the team in points (20.7) and rebounds (7.9) for the playoffs. That average is largely carried over from the team’s first-round playoff series when Siakam grabbed 8.8 rebounds per contest.

Against New York, the forward is averaging a meager 6.5 boards per outing and has only one contest where he’s notched above the player prop mark.

Live player props data coming soon for Nikola Jokic.

Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic To Record 2+ Steals

In the playoffs, Denver’s Nikola Jokic has been an even bigger beast for the Nuggets than bettors may expect. The 6’ 11” center leads the team in minutes (39.9), points (27.6), rebounds (14.0), assists (9.1), blocks (6 total), and steals (1.7).

Few players have ever been as dominant as Jokic’s run this postseason. Players don’t win three MVP awards without being strong defensive players, too.

In five of the eight games these two teams have played, Jokic has recorded at least two steals against Minnesota during the regular and postseason contests. Expect him to continue his trend of recording at least two steals in four of the last five games against the T’wolves tonight.
