Happy Monday to all! We have officially made it to Super Bowl week, an exciting time for fans of sports across the globe. While our minds might be primarily focused on the big game, there are plenty of other sports to watch, including tonight’s 10-game NBA slate.
We’ve put together our favorite player props from the action, which we’ll do every day this week, and we’re hoping to find some great value on Underdog. With that in mind, let’s get into our top player props from the action!
Cade Cunningham is starting to come into his own as a point guard in the NBA. He’s one of the only bright spots on the Detroit Pistons and is often a catalyst to them winning games they otherwise would not have.
He’s coming off a dominant, 15-assist performance against the Chicago Bulls yesterday, which might make some people hesitant to take the under on his line of 10.5. However, the Atlanta Hawks, the Pistons’ opponent tonight, allow the fourth-fewest assists per game, potentially limiting Cunningham’s ceiling in this one.
He’s a great player, but for tonight’s contest, at least, we’re taking the under in this spot.
Player | Prop | Price |
---|---|---|
Amen Thompson | Under 8.5 Rebounds | |
Amen Thompson | Over 8.5 Rebounds |
Amen Thompson is relatively new to the Houston Rockets’ starting lineup, but he’s made the most of his opportunities. Thompson has been excellent on the boards in games where he logs at least 36 minutes, achieving 9+ rebounds in eight of the last ten games he’s played 36+ minutes.
The Rockets have a tough test with the New York Knicks tonight, and they’ll want Thompson on the floor as much as possible to give themselves the best chance of winning. He might not have a 14+ rebound night, but we’re confident that he can get to 9, at least, going over his projection.
The Milwaukee Bucks are facing off against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight, a game that feels as close to a playoff matchup as you can get in the regular season. Both teams are playing at high levels, and this is a chance to show the rest of the league that they can beat top-tier opponents.
With that in mind, we’re excited to see what the two best players in this game, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, can do. We’ll probably take props for SGA too, but we’re more confident in Giannis having at least 30 points tonight, especially since he’s coming off a relatively soft game by his standards.
This is a great opportunity for him to bounce back, and we wouldn’t be surprised if he finished the game with closer to 40 than 30 tonight.
