NBA Friday Predictions: 2 Player Props and Best Bet for November 21

In NBA Friday action, expect Pelicans rookie sensation Derik Queen to continue to put up stats across the board as a playmaking big, while in Chicago, Ayo Dosunmu should continue his incredible early-season campaign against the Miami Heat.

In Phoenix, the Suns are underdogs against Minnesota. With added rest and their depth pieces coming together, I smell an upset in the desert.

G Ayo Dosunmu (CHI) OVER 12.5 Points

With Tre Jones questionable to go in this one due to an ankle injury, I like Ayo Dosunmu to continue his solid play to open up the year in a game that should be high scoring. The Bulls are top five in scoring and bottom ten in points allowed per contest, making this fast-paced matchup against Miami perfect for a player like Ayo.

The Chicago native has put up 18/21/14 points in his last three while scoring over 15 PPG on the year on 56/47/89 splits. He scores 17 PPG at home and against some smaller guards in Mitchell and Powell, should be able to get to his spots tonight.

F Derik Queen (NOP) OVER 10.5 Rebounds & Assists

DQ went off for 30 points, 9 boards, and 4 dimes against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets in a loss. With Willie Green out and New Orleans just 2-13 on the year, they will look to give added minutes to their two lottery selections – Fears and Queen.

DQ has now hit this prop mark in each of his last five games, and against another struggling team in Dallas, I expect him to play 30+ minutes and make a mark as a playmaker. With Jordan Poole out and Zion Williamson slowly returning from injury, it will be DQ time as we turn the corner into the holiday season.

I am a believer in Jordan Ott and the red-hot Phoenix Suns, who have won 8 of their last 10. After a 17-point victory in Portland on Tuesday, Phoenix has rested for the past two nights and will host Minnesota to open a three-game home stand against the Wolves, Spurs, and Rockets, who all already have 10 wins on the year.

Phoenix’s defense has been key in this early-season resurgence, and their depth is finally back with Royce O’Neale, Gillespie, and Dillon Brooks providing extremely positive minutes alongside some of their defensive bigs.

With Minnesota letting Washington back into their Wednesday night win and Phoenix barely losing to Atlanta at home on two nights of rest just this past week, I like the Suns to get another big early season victory here at home.
