G Jamal Shead (TOR) OVER 2.5 Assists
Rookie point guard Jamal Shead has been producing for the Toronto Raptors to start the season. The Houston alum who was known for his tenacious defense and playmaking in college has seamlessly translated his play into Toronto, where he’s averaged four assists and 18 minutes per game over the last month.
Shead has played 25+ minutes in four of his last five and even though Scottie Barnes and company are getting healthier, I think the coaching staff will continue to develop Shead throughout this season as the top point guard coming off the bench.

F Tristan da Silva (ORL) OVER 14.5 PA
On the other side of the court, another rookie is making wavelengths in the frontcourt for the Orlando Magic. Da Silva has dropped two duds over his last five but is starting to find his rhythm from behind the arc, shooting the three at a 33.6% rate, while averaging 8.5 PPG and 1.7 APG this season.
The future elite connector piece for Orlando is on a fast track regarding his production and progression. Against a Toronto team that allows 119 points per game, watch out for TDS to blow past this PA mark.

G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC) OVER 30.5 Points
SGA is coming off a 29-point game against the Clippers in a come-from-behind victory at home. Only taking 17 shots last night, I’m looking for Shai to get aggressive in this matchup against the Knicks, who he’s scored 30 points against in three of their last four meetings.
In back-to-backs, Shai averages 32.2 PPG on over 65% true shooting. This is the perfect spot for Shai’s over.

G Russell Westbrook (DEN) OVER 12.5 RA
Denver takes on San Antonio at home on Friday night in what feels like one of the best matchups of the new year thus far. Wemby against Jokic will take the headlines, but Russell Westbrook has secretly become one of the most important players in Mile High.
Westbrook has hit this RA mark in each of the last three games and in December, averaged 7.1 assists and 5.1 rebounds while playing a season-high in minutes with 28.5 MPG. Against a slighter softer San Antonio backcourt, Russ should be able to have a great game and should be the x-factor tonight against a Spurs team that is looking to win back-to-back games for the first time since mid-December.
