Happy Friday, sports fans! We have officially made it to Super Bowl week, an exciting time for sports fans across the globe. While our minds might be primarily focused on the big game, there are plenty of other sports to watch, including tonight’s seven-game NBA slate.
We’ve put together our favorite player props from the action, which we’ve done every day this week, and we’re hoping to find some great value on Underdog. We went 2/3 during yesterday’s action, narrowly missing on some Kyrie Irving rebounds, so let’s stay hot and hope to sweep the board today to close out the work week!
This line feels a bit too high for us to have confidence in Donovan Mitchell’s over tonight. Mitchell is a top player in this league when healthy, but he’s coming off a shoulder injury, and considering the Cleveland Cavaliers are taking on the Washington Wizards, we’ll gladly take the under in this spot.
Mitchell has had a few stinkers lately, putting up 12 points against the Dallas Mavericks on February 2nd, and has only achieved 26+ points in two of his last five games. Look for the Cavs to rely more heavily on Darius Garland from a scoring perspective tonight, leading to Mitchell scoring under 26 points.
De’Aaron Fox’s debut with the San Antonio Spurs couldn’t have been much better. He ended the game with 24 points, 13 assists, and 3 steals, starting his career with a bang on his new team.
The chemistry between Fox and Victor and Wembanyama is already strong, and we like the odds of Fox having another big game in the assist category. The Charlotte Hornets aren’t a tough opponent for Wemby, especially after their recent trades.
Look for Fox to dish the ball a few times to the seven-footer and his other teammates in this one, hitting the over on this line of 7.5. We’d also take this up to 9.5, should you feel so bold tonight!
Giannis loves to play against the Atlanta Hawks, and we’re all over his point total tonight. He has had at least 31 points against them in his last four encounters, giving us reason to believe he’s due for another massive performance.
Giannis sat out of the Milwaukee Bucks’ game due to load management, so we expect him to be more than ready for tonight’s matchup, putting up at least 31 points in what should be a fantastic battle.
