NBA Cup Championship Player Props for Bucks vs. Thunder

The NBA Cup is tonight and we get a showdown of two of the best teams playing in the NBA right now! After a slow start, Milwaukee has turned it on and is playing very well at the right time.

The Thunder on the other hand, even with the loss of Chet Holmgren have not skipped a beat with Isiah Hartenstein stepping up and playing very big minutes. I have 2 plays tonight, both plus money, let’s cash these!

Live player props data coming soon for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Shai Does It All

Shai has been on a tear in his Cup matches. He has been doing it all and it has shown as he has cashed 12 rebounds + assists in 4 straight Cup games. I do expect the Bucks to try to force the ball out of his hands and he will need to make plays to win this game.

He has been spectacular at grabbing rebounds and keeping his teammates involved. Over his last 10 games he is averaging 12.2 potential assists and 10.6 rebounds chances. We saw both starting guards for the Hawks last game cash this line vs Milwaukee. Also, their top 3 ball-handling starters cashed this line along with Jalen Johnson.

He can score 30+ and hit this line, but I do think he scores a little less in this game and does more peripherals. His head-to-head was not spectacular, but he doesn't play Milwaukee enough to look too deep into H2H, as both teams are different from the last time they faced off.

Live player props data coming soon for Khris Middleton.

Middleton Working Back to Form

Khris Middleton is working his way back into the season, having played 4 games under his belt, 2 in the cup playoffs. He has cashed 9+ points in 2/4 this season and is looking to make more of an impact in these cup games.

He cashed both road games vs Boston & Brooklyn, while going under both cup games at home. I like that they are on the “road” in a sense, because that is where he has thrived. He also cashed this line 87% last season and 80% his last 20 games dating back to last season.

He's always matched up well vs OKC cashing 4 straight H2H, 16, 25, 11, 18 and I do think they will need him to step up and be more aggressive this game, get to the foul line and make a few buckets. OKC ranks 30th, dead last according to Outlier in points to SF and I think he puts in a good effort tonight against this stingy defense.

My Best Bets (2):

Shai-Gilgeous Alexander (OKC) o11.5 RA (+110)

Khris Middleton (MIL) o8.5 Points (+104)
