Magic vs. Celtics 3 Player Props and Predictions

Happy Wednesday to all! We hope you enjoyed a great evening of NBA action last night, as some awesome games went down. If you followed our Underdog picks from the matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers, you’d know that we swept the board, going a perfect 3/3 with the selections we gave out.

It was a fantastic night from a player prop perspective, but we’re not going to rest on our laurels. After studying Underdog’s board of lines for tonight’s action, we’ve honed in on our favorite plays from the battle between the Orlando Magic and the Boston Celtics.

Will the Magic even the series with Jayson Tatum sidelined? Or will the Celtics step up in his absence and find a way to win regardless? Let’s find out together!

Derrick White OVER 16.5 Points

This is, by far, our favorite prop of the night. Derrick White was awesome in Game 1 for the Celtics, putting up 30 points with Tatum on the floor, so there’s no reason to believe that he’s in for a down performance with Tatum out.

He might not have a 30-point ceiling every game, but it’s realistic to think that he’ll have at least 20 points in every game of this series, especially considering how strong of a three-point shooter he is. Don’t overthink the over on his point total, especially with Tatum out.

Paolo Banchero OVER 26.5 Points

If the Magic want any chance of winning this game, it’ll have to come on the back of Paolo Banchero. They certainly have other great players who can contribute down the stretch, but without a big night from Banchero, the Magic don’t have a great shot in this one, even with Tatum sidelined.

With that in mind, we’re all-in on Banchero’s point total, believing he can deliver another superb performance to allow the Magic to prove that they belong in this series.

Sam Hauser UNDER 10.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists

This line is shockingly high for Sam Hauser, who played just nine minutes in Game 1 of this series for the Celtics, logging three rebounds and one assist. One might think that he’s going to get more work with Tatum off the floor.

However, we believe the Celtics are going to rely on their other role-players in this one, leaving little opportunity for Hauser to make a difference. He won’t play much unless the Celtics have a commanding lead, which might not happen due to Tatum’s injury.
