Magic vs 76ers: 3 Player Prop Predictions for Wednesday, April 15

Magic vs 76ers Props

Happy Wednesday! Two more preliminary NBA Play-In Games are happening tonight, featuring two marquee matchups. The first game of the night is between the Orlando Magic and the Philadelphia 76ers, and there’s a lot on the line.

The winner of this game is automatically into the playoffs to take on the Boston Celtics, while the loser will head into a win-or-go-home game on Friday against the Charlotte Hornets. There’s a lot of hype surrounding tonight’s Eastern Conference matchup, so we’re looking forward to watching it go down. With that in mind, let’s get into our favorite player props from this matchup, hoping to make it that much more exciting!

Live player props data coming soon for VJ Edgecombe.

VJ Edgecombe OVER 9.5 Rebounds & Assists

The 76ers are slight favorites in this game, and a large reason for that is VJ Edgecombe, who has been excellent throughout his rookie campaign. Edgecombe might be a Rookie of the Year candidate in any other year, but because Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel have been so solid, it’s just not his season.

That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t, and won’t make a major impact on this roster, which is what we’re expecting out of him in this one. He’s already shown that the lights don’t faze him, and considering he’s had 10+ rebounds & assists in four straight games, we’re riding with the hot hand.

Live player props data coming soon for Tyrese Maxey.

Tyrese Maxey UNDER 39.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists

While we’re excited about Edgecombe’s outlook for this game, the same cannot be said for Tyrese Maxey, who has been flying under the radar lately, and not in a good way. Maxey has struggled to put up his typical strong numbers over the past several games, going under 40 PRA in 5 straight home games.

Players like Maxey will figure it out eventually, but we don’t think tonight is going to be that night for him, especially with his recent history in mind.

Live player props data coming soon for Desmond Bane.

Desmond Bane UNDER 4.5 Rebounds

We’re riding with another under to close this one out, this time, for Desmond Bane. Bane has been a solid contributor for the Magic all season, but for whatever reason, he hasn’t been as solid in the rebounding category, especially lately.

He’s had fewer than five rebounds in four straight games, which doesn’t give us much confidence in this matchup. We need to see it to believe it from Bane, so for now, we’re fading this total.
