Happy Tuesday, everyone! If you’re anything like us, you’re still shaking in excitement from the men’s hockey gold medal at the Olympics this weekend, winning their first gold in the event since 1980’s “Miracle on Ice.”
While this game didn’t mean as much as the win over the Soviets, it was still an exciting moment for USA hockey, something that they can hopefully build upon and grow the sport.
Now that the Olympics are over and the NHL is still on break for a few more days, fans can shift their attention to the NBA, which has some dynamite matchups unfolding tonight. One in particular caught our eye, between the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers, so we’ve put together our top player props from that one, all of which can be found on Underdog!
Jaylon Tyson OVER 3.5 Rebounds
Jaylon Tyson has been on a roll this year, a vital piece of the Cavs’ roster. He’s been excellent in all facets of the game, especially when it comes to rebounding. He’s had 4+ boards in seven straight home games, and 5+ in eight in a row. The Cavs have come to rely on him in this area this season, and we’re expecting big things from him in a matchup that could be a playoff preview.
Donovan Mitchell OVER 26.5 Points
Speaking of players on a roll, Donovan Mitchell is riding a four-game streak of 27+ points against the Knicks. Even though they’ve been among the best teams in the East for a few years, Mitchell always seems to feast against them, at least lately. We’re hoping for similar results in this one, especially since he’s had 27+ in four of his past six overall games.

Our only under of the day is associated with Jalen Brunson, who, unlike Mitchell, hasn’t had the best of luck in recent games against the Cavaliers in one particular area. He’s had 6 or fewer assists in their past four meetings, needing to be more of a scoring threat due to close games. We’re banking on that being the case for Brunson and the Knicks again tonight, once again going under on his assist total.
