Happy Friday, everyone! Last night’s game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Denver Nuggets was certainly something to watch. After winning the last three games, the Nuggets looked lethargic at best, allowing the Timberwolves to win by an impressive total of 45 points. With this in mind, the game turned into a bit of a snoozefest, which is the opposite of what we’re hoping for tonight.
There is only one NBA game on the slate this evening, as the Indiana Pacers take on the New York Knicks in Game 6 of the series. This series has been a whirlwind to this point, and we’re curious to see how it’ll all go down.
In preparation for this game, we’ve studied Underdog’s board of player props, and have made our best predictions of what’s going to happen. We might have gone 0/3 in last night’s blowout, but we’re hoping for improved luck in this one. Let’s get into it!
We got SMOKED by this line in Game 5. After a strong Game 4, Haliburton had a pretty pedestrian performance last game, making us tuck our tail between our legs after giving out this pick.
However, tonight’s contest is an elimination game. Haliburton needs to step up and be a leader for his teammates, and we’re expecting him to have a monster game as a result.
He has emerged as the leader of this team, and we expect his output to reflect that, going over his PRA line.
We’re riding with the stars tonight. Jalen Brunson is an absolute beast, as evidenced by his 44-point outing in Game 5.
Brunson has the ability to take over any game with his elite scoring prowess, and he’s due for another big showing. He’s averaged nearly 34 points per game throughout the playoffs, and we’re not ready to fade him tonight.
Three player props, three overs from us for this game. Josh Hart is one of the most prolific rebounding guards in recent history.
He seems to be a magnet to the glass every game, and we love his chances of achieving at least 13 boards tonight. Hart is a great complementary piece to Brunson in this offense, and with a lot on the line, look for Hart to have another ceiling game in the rebounding category.
