With less than a month before the NBA playoffs begin, tonight’s schedule is light after a full slate of games Monday night. Tuesday’s schedule has only four games, but two of the four will comprise the TNT schedule.
The Los Angeles Lakers (39-32) travel to Milwaukee to face the Bucks (46-25) in an Eastern vs Western Conference battle at 7:30 pm. In the nightcap, the Dallas Mavericks (42-29) battle the Sacramento Kings (42-29) in an important battle for the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference playoffs.
With two incredible matchups on tap for Tuesday, what players should bettors watch in these two primetime matchups? We’ll cover our four best NBA Player Prop bets for Tuesday’s TNT games to help bettors earn cash off these intriguing matchups.
Los Angeles has leaned on Anthony Davis as the Lakers continue their playoff push. The 6’ 11” forward has been dominant in his last three outings, averaging 27.0 points, 16.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists during Los Angeles’ three-game winning streak.
Although Davis will likely face off against Giannis Antetokounmpo Tuesday night, expect the veteran forward to continue his dominance. This is especially true if LeBron James – who is currently listed as doubtful with issues regarding his left ankle – is not available for the Lakers against the Bucks.
The marriage between the Milwaukee Bucks and Damian Lillard has been a fruitful one for both parties. The Bucks – currently second in the Eastern Conference – have a true scoring threat at point guard to pair with Antetokounmpo to make this a dangerous team.
While Lillard’s scoring average is down from past seasons, the guard is still dishing out seven assists per game while pouring in 24.4 points per night. As well, Lillard’s shooting has not tapered off as the 12-year veteran is still connecting on 36% of his long-range shots.
In these teams’ first matchup, Lillard went 4-of-12 from behind the arc in a 28-point effort. With Lillard hitting four or more three-pointers in the past four games, expect the hot-shooting point guard to connect on at least four tonight at home against the Lakers.
The NBA’s leading scorer – Luka Doncic – heads west Tuesday in his team’s third matchup against the Sacramento Kings. In two previous games, Sacramento has held Doncic below his season-scoring average of 34.0 points both games, allowing 25 and 28 points in the Kings’ two wins over Dallas.
Yet in the Mavericks’ last eight games, Doncic is averaging 30.0 points per game during his team’s eight-game winning streak. Bettors should expect the same tonight for Doncic. Further, the guard is scoring a full point less in road contests this season, giving bettors less confidence that Doncic will successfully cover this player prop bet.
The league’s leading scorer faces off against the NBA’s top rebounder. Sacramento’s Domantas Sabonis is averaging 13.7 rebounds per night, and the 6’ 10” forward has collected 15 or more rebounds in five of the Kings’ last seven home games.
While it stands to reason Sabonis will cover this player prop bets, the smart money is on underperforming tonight against Dallas. In two previous games – both on the road – Sabonis nabbed only 11 and 13 rebounds in his team’s victories over the Mavericks. Bettors should wager against Sabonis covering this prop bet Tuesday night.
