Celtics vs Mavericks: 3 Player Prop Predictions for Tuesday, February 3

Happy Tuesday, everyone! We’ve officially made it to Super Bowl week, and we’re only a few days away from finding out who is going to hoist the Lombardi Trophy this year. In the meantime, there are a lot of other great games in other sports taking place, including tonight’s battle between the Boston Celtics and the Dallas Mavericks.

The Celtics are 6.5-point favorites on the road this evening, but the Mavericks have been playing well lately, so this one could come down to the wire. Let’s get into our top Underdog picks from this one, hoping to have some more cash in our pockets for the big game!

Cooper Flagg OVER 6.5 Rebounds

Cooper Flagg has started to come into his own lately, really showing the Mavericks (and the rest of the league, for that matter), that he was worthy of the No. 1 overall selection. He’s not only put up some impressive point totals lately, but his rebounding numbers have been fantastic.

He’s had 7+ boards in four straight games, and considering the Celtics are below average (17th) in rebounds against SF, it’s a great opportunity for Flagg to hit this mark for the fifth game in a row.

Brandon Williams OVER 19.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists

Brandon Williams might not be a household name for most NBA fans, but he’s been excellent for the Mavericks lately, especially at home. He’s had 20+ PRA in nine-straight home games, and has hit this number in seven of his past 10 overall contests.

Williams might not be as flashy a player as Flagg, or as highly regarded, but he’s important to this team, and should be important to your betting slip tonight, too.

Jaylen Brown OVER 7.5 Rebounds

Jaylen Brown has been awesome all year with Jayson Tatum sidelined, showcasing the type of player he can be when he’s the No. 1 option on a team. His point totals have been excellent, but, similarly to Flagg, his rebounding totals simply can’t be ignored.

He’s not only had 7+ in seven straight, but he’s had double-digit boards in four of those outings. The Mavericks are one of the worst teams in the league when it comes to rebounds against, so it’s an extra juicy opponent for Brown to continue this trend against.
