Celtics vs. Magic 3 Player Props for Friday, April 25

Happy Friday to all! It’s a very exciting day, as the NHL and NBA playoffs are going on, along with Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft. There’s so much to watch that it might be hard to decide where to put your attention, but we’ve taken a lot of time to dive into Underdog’s player props for the NBA slate.

We decided to hone in on one game, going all-in on the matchup between the Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic. Can the Magic sneak in a win or two at home? Or will the Celtics keep their winning ways alive en route to a clean sweep?

As we look to find out together, let’s get into our top props from this game, hoping to sweep the board for the third day this week!

Paolo Banchero OVER 28.5 Points

We took the over on this line in Wednesday’s contest, and Banchero came through with a 32-point performance. It’s not typically advised to take the same props over and over again, but there’s no reason for us to fade Banchero tonight, especially at home when his team is in desperate need of a win.

He’s put up 32+ points in each game of the series, so we’re just going to ride with him until further notice, likely until he lets us down. Until then, we’ll stick with this over.

Jaylen Brown OVER 24.5 Points

It doesn’t look like Jayson Tatum is going to play tonight for the second game in a row, but it shouldn’t be a problem for the Celtics. Players like Jaylen Brown can step up in the clutch and come through with big performances, similar to his 36-point outing in Game 2.

The Celtics have plenty of firepower without Tatum, and we expect Brown to put on a masterclass tonight en route to another fun matchup. He might not have a ceiling of 36 points every night, but hitting the 25-point threshold shouldn’t be a problem in this one.

Derrick White UNDER 16.5 Points

The Linsanity-type run of Derrick White will likely end tonight. White has been on a tear lately, hitting threes from every corner of the floor and being a primary scorer for the Celtics.

That run has to come to an end eventually, and with our prediction of Brown having a massive night, we’re expecting White to have a less dominant performance from a scoring perspective. The Magic will have to shut somebody down if they want to win, and White seems like a fair option given his propensity to take a lot of shots from the perimeter.
