Celtics vs. Knicks Predictions: 3 Player Props for Game 4

Happy Monday, everyone! We hope you had a great weekend and were able to spend some time with a mom or two in your life. While it was Mother’s Day weekend, there were also a lot of exciting NBA games to tune into, which provided a lot of drama over the past few days.

The Boston Celtics took Game 3 away from the New York Knicks, and have an opportunity to tie the series tonight, going back to Boston. We’re going to focus our efforts on this game, even though there’s another game on the slate this evening. Let’s dive into our favorite player props from Underdog, hoping to start the week with a perfect sweep!

Jayson Tatum UNDER 27.5 Points

This is our favorite play of the evening, by far. Jayson Tatum has been pretty quiet throughout this series thus far, as his best outing came in Game 1, where he put up 23 points. These games have been relatively low-scoring, which doesn’t allow much opportunity for players like Tatum to go nuclear.

Plus, with the Celtics being a deep team that can get scoring from multiple players, we’re fading Tatum until further notice, believing Underdog set this line too high for him, even though he’s a superstar.

Karl-Anthony Towns OVER 11.5 Rebounds

We were a bit surprised to see how low this line was for this game, especially since KAT has had at least 13 rebounds in each game this series, including an impressive 17-rebound performance in Game 2. Both teams have been shooting poorly from the floor this series, and KAT has certainly taken advantage to this point.

His string of impressive rebounding games is bound to come to an end at some point, but we’re not projecting tonight to be that night. With that in mind, we’re going to keep taking the over on this line until we see a different result from the Knicks’ big man.

Payton Pritchard OVER 9.5 Points

Payton Pritchard has been awesome throughout this series. He’s come up clutch in big moments when Tatum and Jaylen Brown haven’t scored as many points, and we’re projecting him to come up with more of the same in this one.

Pritchard is a weapon from beyond the three-point arc, already hitting 10 this series. If he keeps this up, it shouldn’t be a problem for him to achieve the 10-point mark in any game, so we’ll bet on him to make it happen again tonight to help the Celtics stay in this series.
