Did anyone have the Boston Celtics taking a 2-0 series lead over the Dallas Mavericks? We certainly didn’t, especially after the Mavericks looked like a shell of themselves in Game 1.
It seemed like the Mavericks were in it in the first half, and things quickly went downhill. It will certainly be interesting to see how both teams perform tonight, and if the Mavericks can find a way to get back on track.
The news of Kristaps Porzingis potentially being sidelined for this game could be the fuel and energy the Mavericks need to get back in the series. There are massive implications for the player props in this game with his injury in mind, and we’re excited to dive into our favorites of the night.
Let’s take a look at our top plays from tonight’s contest, all of which can be found on Underdog!

With Porzingis likely out of the starting lineup, one might assume that Jayson Tatum is in for a big scoring night. However, he’s been really quiet for most of the playoffs, deferring to teammates like Derrick White and Jaylen Brown to do the bulk of the scoring.
He had just 16 points in Game 1 and 18 in Game 2. We can’t trust him to have a massive performance and are fading his point total as a result. On the road in Dallas is another solid spot for the Under!
Jrue Holiday had a MASSIVE scoring output in Game 2, putting up 26 points in the Celtics win over the Mavericks. While he could still put up some decent numbers in that realm, we still like his chances at going over 10.5 rebounds and assists.
He has been consistent in these areas throughout the playoffs, a great rebounder and shot creator for this team. I don't see that changing tonight, even on the highway against the Mavs!
Tonight feels like a vintage Kyrie Irving performance. After two straight games with suboptimal scoring, we like Irving’s chances to get back to a dominant place. Things should go much better for Irving now that he's out of Boston!
Look for him to attack the rim more aggressively in this one, doing whatever possible to keep the Mavericks in the series. Irving averaged Over 25 points per game during the regular season, so this price looks like a bargain.
This is the ideal bounce back spot for Irving, so we'll ride the Over!
