Game 4 of the NBA Finals is officially here! We thought that the Dallas Mavericks were going to pull it out in Game 3, but with Luka Doncic fouling out at the end of the contest, it was difficult for the Mavericks to overtake the Boston Celtics.
Tonight’s game is one final opportunity for the Mavericks to show that they belong here and that they are capable of extending the series when push comes to shove. There are a lot of narratives heading into tonight, and we’re excited to see it all go down.
We’ve compiled our favorite player props from tonight’s action- let’s see who will show up in this one!
Jayson Tatum was a man on a mission in Game 3. After scoring less than 20 points in the first two games of the series, he showed up and balled out, a big reason that the Celtics won that game.
This was also a great shooting night for him compared to other performances this series, shooting over 40% for the first time against the Mavs.
We like his chances of keeping this scoring barrage going tonight, which is why we’re taking the over on his points.
We are petrified of Luka Doncic’s total game totals for some reason but feel incredibly confident about his points in the first quarter. Doncic was very emotional at the end of Game 3, and we saw him get frustrated in postgame press conferences.
With this motivation in mind, look for Doncic to come firing out of the gates, scoring at least 12 points in the first quarter.
After two lackluster performances, Dereck Lively stepped up in a big way in Game 3, scoring 11 points. However, he scored two points in each of the prior contests.
Because we expect Doncic and Kyrie Irving to have their hands all over this game, we’re straying away from his point total here.
We were stunned to see how low Jaylen Brown’s assist line was, especially after he’s achieved eight and seven assists in his last two games, respectively.
Brown has been the Celtics’ on-court leader throughout the playoffs, doing whatever is needed of him to get the job done. We love his odds of smashing this line tonight!
