With Michigan’s win on Monday night, the 2025-2026 NCAA basketball season is officially over. While this is a sad time for college basketball fans, the good news is that the NBA playoffs are right around the corner, and teams are working extra hard over the next few weeks to solidify their positioning in the standings. There are a lot of important matchups going down over the next few days, including tonight’s battle between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks.
While both of these teams have officially locked in a playoff spot, they’re still jockeying for position. Every win is important at this point, so we’re excited to watch this one and pay attention to all of the player props. We’ve got you covered with our favorites from this matchup, so let’s get into it!
CJ McCollum OVER 4.5 Assists
CJ McCollum has been enjoying himself on his new team, performing well for the Hawks and putting them in a position to make a deep playoff run. He’s been especially excellent from a distribution standpoint and has had 5+ assists in 5 straight home games, as well as in 4 of his past 6 overall. McCollum is who they’ll need to rely on in this one, so we’re riding with him as well.
Onyeka Okongwu UNDER 7.5 Rebounds
Some opponents are tougher than others, and for Onyeka Okongwu, the Cavaliers are exactly that. While he’s averaging less than 8 rebounds per game on the year as it is, he averages less than 6 per game against the Cavaliers, and has had 8 or fewer in 8 straight matchups. For whatever reason, Okongwu hasn’t been able to get it done against them, historically, and we just don’t think he’s going to put up big numbers in this must-win contest tonight.
James Harden OVER 25.5 Points & Rebounds
While Okongwu has struggled against the Cavaliers, James Harden has been awesome against the Hawks. He’s had 26+ PR in all 4 of their most recent meetings, a dominant force in two aspects of the game. Harden has been getting buckets lately, so we wouldn’t be surprised if he crushed this line, making us feel pretty good about 26 being set as the PR total.
