Happy Wednesday, everyone! If you followed our picks last night, you’d know that it wasn’t the best evening of player props for us.
Kristaps Porzingis ended up not playing, Jalen Brunson only had 20 points due to a blowout, and, despite having a monster night, Giannis didn’t hit the over on his PRA total. The saving grace on the evening was Anthony Edwards, who put together a masterclass.
We are back to the drawing board with nine games on the docket, hoping to reverse our poor fortunes yesterday. Thankfully, we like several player props from Underdog tonight, including the four seen below. Let’s get a sweep tonight and get back on track. Best of luck!
Wednesday, October 23 at 7:30 PM | Spread | Money | Total |
Orlando Magic | +1.5 (-115) | +102 | O 210.5 (-110) |
Miami Heat | -1.5 (-110) | -110 | U 209.5 (-110) |
Bam Adebayo seemingly loves to play against the Denver Nuggets. He has scored at least 20 points against them in four of their past six matchups, with one of those misses being a 19-point performance last season.
Adebayo certainly has his work cut out for him against Nikola Jokic in this one, but we still think he will score north of 20, given his track record against this team.
Plus, the Heat have lost their last three games, and they’re going to need players like Adebayo to come through to break this losing streak.
Wednesday, October 23 at 7:30 PM | Spread | Money | Total |
Cleveland Cavaliers | -4.5 (-110) | -170 | O 219 (-110) |
Toronto Raptors | +4.5 (-110) | +152 | U 217.5 (-108) |
Similar to Adebayo, Brandon Ingram performs well against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has played 12 games against them in his career, averaging 21.7 PPG, and has had over 20 points in six of his last seven against them.
Don’t overthink taking his over in this one. This line is a couple of points too low!
Thursday, October 24 at 7:30 PM | Spread | Money | Total |
San Antonio Spurs | +8.5 (-112) | +265 | O 233.5 (-110) |
Dallas Mavericks | -8.5 (-108) | -300 | U 232.5 (-112) |
It might seem crazy to take a triple-double prop, especially since Underdog is only giving us a 1.1x boost on it. However, Luka Doncic is on another level right now. He continues to be involved in the MVP conversation, and his triple-double streak is certainly something that could help his case.
Doncic has had a triple-double in seven straight games, and we’re not betting against that streak ending tonight, even though the Dallas Mavericks are taking on the Golden State Warriors.
Wednesday, October 23 at 7:30 PM | Spread | Money | Total |
Brooklyn Nets | +7.5 (-110) | +255 | O 220.5 (-110) |
Atlanta Hawks | -7.5 (-113) | -285 | U 219.5 (-105) |
Dejounte Murray was a good player for the Atlanta Hawks before Trae Young got injured, but he has really come into his own lately. Murray tends to get it done as a facilitator and as a scorer, which has helped this team immensely.
Look for Murray to have his hands all over this game against the Portland Trail Blazers tonight, totaling at least nine assists by the time the game is over.
