Happy Thursday, everyone. We hope you tailed our Underdog player props last night because we SWEPT the board on NBA props! We’re hoping for a similar result tonight despite there only being five games on the slate.
The NBA season is coming to a close, so we’re running out of time to place player props picks on multiple games per night. Let’s dive into our favorite plays for this evening’s action, which can also be found on Underdog!
March was very kind to the Dallas Mavericks. They played 15 games during the month and won 11 of them. The Mavericks are one of the hottest teams in the NBA, and while they lost a close one to the Golden State Warriors the other day, we’re confident that they will bounce back in a big way tonight.
We anticipate that Daniel Gafford will be a massive part of the team’s success in this one since he has been a beast on the boards all season. Look for Gafford to have at least eight rebounds tonight, even though he’s matching up with Clint Capela from the Atlanta Hawks. This game is too important for him to have an off night.
Joel Embiid played his first game since January 30th on Tuesday night. He played for 29 minutes, scoring 24 points and also grabbing six rebounds and seven assists.
While Embiid was a great, consistent player to start the year, we’re a bit wary of him having a massive game in his second night back. The Philadelphia 76ers might want to contain him for the next few games, slowly ramping him up to be the most efficient in the playoffs.
With this in mind, we’re taking the under on his PRA line, especially since it’s over 40. We’ll wait to take any of Embiid’s overs until he shows that he is back to his dominant ways.
Terance Mann and the Los Angeles Clippers are taking on the Denver Nuggets in an important game tonight. The Nuggets need a win here to retain the No. 1 spot in the Western Conference, where the Clippers are hoping to retain their spot as the fourth-best team in the conference.
While this is the case, we’re not expecting Terance Mann to be a big part of the game. We’re certain that the Clippers stars will have the biggest impact on the total score, which is why we’re fading Mann’s over, even though it’s only set at 8.5 points.
