Happy Friday, everyone! We hope you all had a great time watching the NBA action unfold last night. Several exciting games took place, which made for an awesome first night back after the All-Star Break.
We gave out six picks last night, ultimately going 2-4. We caught the hook on our four losses, but of course, a loss is a loss, and we will own that.
Tonight, we’re only going with our top three picks, hoping to go 3-0, rather than giving out too many plays. Here are our three favorite plays from Underdog tonight. Enjoy the action, and as always, best of luck!
Wednesday, October 23 at 10:00 PM | Spread | Money | Total |
Phoenix Suns | -2.5 (-110) | -122 | O 225 (-110) |
Los Angeles Clippers | +2.5 (-110) | +115 | U 224 (-110) |
Devin Booker has maintained his position as one of the best players in the NBA this season. He is a scoring machine, averaging 27.7 points per game on the year, the seventh-highest total in the league.
He takes on the Houston Rockets tonight, a team he has played well against in recent history. Booker’s last five games against this team have been performances of 20, 41, 30, 36, and 24 points.
He tends to go off against them, and with this being the Suns’ second game back after the break, look for Booker to continue to start the second half of the season on the right foot.
Wednesday, October 23 at 7:30 PM | Spread | Money | Total |
Milwaukee Bucks | +4.5 (-115) | +166 | O 225.5 (-110) |
Philadelphia 76ers | -4.5 (-110) | -175 | U 225 (-112) |
The Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks faced off a few weeks ago, and it was a matchup that did not disappoint. It was a close game through three quarters, but the Timberwolves found a second gear in the fourth quarter and ended up beating the Bucks in blowout fashion.
We anticipate tonight’s game to provide another cinematic atmosphere, and what better player to have a big game than Anthony Edwards? Edwards and the Timberwolves are fresh off All-Star Weekend, and since they didn’t play last night, they have extra energy heading into this game.
Look for Edwards to dominate early, putting up big numbers en route to smashing this over.
This line might get bumped closer to tip-off, so try to get this in early if possible. Giannis and the Bucks will try to avenge their loss to the Timberwolves earlier this month, so don’t be surprised if they come out to a hot start.
We’re thinking Giannis will score at least 10 in the first quarter alone, which would help us easily cash this bet. Let’s get after it tonight!
