Best NBA Player Prop Picks for Wednesday, January 31

While playmaking forwards Kevin Durant and Franz Wagner should have no problems finding the bucket today, CJ McCollum might struggle against a Houston defense that causes problems at home.

Check out our entire NBA player props card below! Good luck with your action, and let's wrap the month up on a winning note!

F Kevin Durant (PHO) OVER 25.0 PTS

With Booker getting the Mikal Bridges matchup in what seems to be a friendly rivalry game between the Suns and Nets tonight, Durant should be freed up to make his mark as a scorer in a game where the race to 120 points is very real.

While KD hasn’t reached this mark in four straight games, the Suns are looking to get back on track with back-to-back wins and with Bridges away from Durant most of the evening, look for KD’s usage rate and shot attempts to rise in this one.

G James Harden (LAC) OVER 14.0 REB+AST

Harden and the Clippers are in a groove offensively, scoring 115 points or more in five of their last six. Harden has reached this total in four of his last five.

With a matchup against the struggling Wizards on tap, look for James to take control as a playmaker early and reach the 15 REB+AST mark. In Clipper wins, Harden averages over this total which should be an easy hit against the worst defense in the league.

G CJ McCollum (NOP) UNDER 25.5 PTS+REB+AST

CJ has a tough matchup tonight against Houston. The Rockets are 2nd in defensive efficiency while giving opposing point guards trouble with their game wreckers Amen Thompson and Cam Whitmore coming alive for the young and hungry West squad.

CJ has been under in 9 of his last 15 in the point column and will struggle to find boards and assists in this one. This is a prime spot to play him Under.

G Donovan Mitchell (CLE) OVER 28.5 PTS

Mitchell has an A+ matchup today facing the Pistons, who don’t have the most elite defense to speak of. Scoring on Detroit shouldn't be much of a problem for the overly talented Mitchell.

Donovan is averaging just a pinch over 27 PPG this month, but with Jalen Duren being a presence down low to slow Mobley down, look for Mitchell to take control of this game with his 3-point and mid-range attacks.

F Franz Wagner (ORL) OVER 22.5 PTS+AST

Franz and the Magic look to start a positive streak tonight against the Spurs in a winnable matchup. Wagner is averaging over 21 PTS+AST in his last five while shooting over 41% from downtown, a solid line.

Look for the Magic to take this one against the Spurs with their playmaking forward leading the way, and as he averages over 25 PTS+AST in wins that mark should hit once again as Orlando looks to stay in the playoff race out East.
