Best NBA Player Prop Picks for Wednesday, January 24

It’s all about the playmaking on Wednesday, as big men Jalen Duren and Alperen Sengun should drop dimes at ease, while Jalen Williams and the Thunder should run all over the Spurs in San Antonio.

Check out our best NBA player prop picks for January 24 below. Good luck on the hardwood!

C Jalen Duren (DET) OVER 28.0 PTS+REB+AST

Duren feasts against bottom-tier teams. With the Pistons favored against the Charlotte Hornets who just lost Scary Terry, we love Jalen to have one of the best games of his second season here.

In four Detroit wins, Duren averages 18.8 PPG, 17 RPG, and 3.5 APG passing the 28.0 mark with flying colors. Dropping 14 points, 17 boards, and 3 assists in their first meeting, look for the young big man to have another huge outing in what could become a rare Detroit win.

G Donovan Mitchell (CLE) OVER 0.5 Double Doubles (1.5x)

New Head Coach, an uncertain locker room, and a terrible defense, Donovan Mitchell is in a great spot to have his third double-double in the last six games tonight against Milwaukee.

Dono averages 32.5 PPG and 8 dimes in two games against the Bucks, and with this game likely to end up in the 230s scoring wise, expect plenty of assist opportunities for Mitchell with Garland still sidelined.

C Alperen Sengun (HOU) OVER 4.5 AST

Alperen “superstar” Sengun is coming off a triple double and four straight games with 5 or more assists. Portland is coming off an extremely tough loss to the Thunder and we are expecting them to come flat footed into Houston.

While his assist numbers are down from earlier in the season, this prop is too low to ignore in a great matchup.

F Jabari Walker (POR) OVER 8.5 REB+AST

While Portland searches for a new star, Jabari Walker has emerged as an essential “glue-guy”. One of our favorites from the ‘22 draft class, Walker has hit this mark in six of eight games in January, while playing over 28 MPG during that span.

With Houston attempting the most FG per game over their last three outings, expect plenty of rebounding opportunities for the forward who can also push the pace once he hauls in the rebound.

G Jalen Williams (OKC) OVER 4.0 AST

It’s a playmaking game tonight for Jalen Williams on the 1st seeded Oklahoma City Thunder. Averaging 5.2 APG over his last five, Williams seems to play more of a playmaker role on the road, averaging 2.3 more APG outside of Oklahoma.

With San Antonio in the bottom quarter of the league in dimes allowed per outing, expect J-Dub to hit this mark once again as OKC holds onto first place tonight.
