76ers vs Heat: 3 Player Prop Predictions for Monday, March 30

It was an exciting weekend for basketball fans between the NCAA and NBA, as a lot of amazing games went down that kept us all glued to our TVs. While we have to wait several days for some more March Madness games to take place, we don’t have to wait that long for the NBA, as there is a fantastic eight-game slate going down tonight.

With so many games to choose from, it was a difficult decision on which one to hone in on, but we ultimately decided on the matchup in Miami between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Heat. The 76ers are 2.5-point favorites on the road here, so this is expected to be a close, down-to-the-wire contest. With that said, let’s get into our favorite player props from this one!

Bam Adebayo UNDER 10.5 Rebounds

We all know about Bam Adebayo’s performance earlier this month, where he dropped 83 points in a game that’s not going to be forgotten anytime soon. If you haven’t been paying attention outside of that, Adebayo has been a consistent scoring threat for the Heat, a big catalyst for this offense when they need him most.

For whatever reason, he hasn’t been as dominant on the boards, especially lately. Adebayo has put up fewer than 11 rebounds in eight straight home games, seemingly being more effective as a scorer than as a rebounder. We’re going to ride with this trend until he proves otherwise, so we’ll take the under in this spot as a result.

Davion Mitchell UNDER 6.5 Assists

Similar to his teammate, Davion Mitchell has been less-than-productive as a distributor over his past 10 home games. He’s had fewer than 7 assists in 10 straight home games, which doesn’t do his teammates any good as their starting point guard.

We’re certainly hoping he’ll get back on track soon, but for now, like Adebeyo, we’re riding the under wave with Mitchell until he hits on this line.

VJ Edgecombe OVER 5.5 Rebounds

If Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel didn’t exist, VJ Edgecombe would be a shoo-in for Rookie of the Year this season. He’s been nothing short of fantastic for the 76ers all year, but he hasn’t quite met the level of Knueppel and Flagg from a pure production standpoint.

His rebounding numbers have been solid through, which is why we’re taking the over on his line in this one. He’s had 5+ boards in 5 straight games, even flying well over that number against the Utah Jazz, logging 13. We don’t expect his ceiling to be that high here, but having at least 5 shouldn’t be a problem.
