Happy Tuesday to all! Tonight is an important one in the NBA, as we have two series on the docket, both of which are tied at 2-2.
Who will take that all-important step to go up 3-2, getting one step closer to a conference championship berth? As we await these games, let’s take a look at a few of our favorite player props, which are provided by Underdog.
Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers will attempt to do everything they can to head back to their home arena up 3-2. This could include another monster game from Embiid, who is averaging 32 points in their last two games.
Despite coming off an injury, the 2022-2023 league MVP hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. In a game that means so much to this organization, look for Embiid’s impact to be felt, especially when it comes to scoring.
On the other side of the court from Embiid is Jayson Tatum, another one of the league’s best players. Throughout the season, Tatum and Jaylen Brown have seemingly traded places as the Celtics’ lead scorers in games. We’re expecting tonight to be a big game for Tatum as the Celtics look to make the series 3-2, especially in front of their home crowd.
Plus, Tatum has hit over 43.5 PRA in three of his last four games in that he’s logged at least 40 minutes. If there was ever a time for Tatum to have another 30-plus point performance, it would be tonight.
At this point, we’re not going to bet against Devin Booker. Booker has exploded during this series against the Denver Nuggets, averaging 36.25 points per game. The Suns have won their last two games, evening the series to 2-2.
As Booker and the Suns head to Denver tonight, we’re anticipating yet another massive game from him. The magic is bound to fade at some point, but we’re not expecting tonight to be that night.
The same confidence that we had in Booker applies to Jokic. He continues to be the cornerstone of this Nuggets squad, seemingly putting the team on his back every game.
Not only is Jokic coming off a 53-point performance and averaging 60 PRA during this series. Jokic is not to be messed with right now, which is why we recommend taking the over on his PRA total tonight.
Okay, fine. We’ll take an under. But this isn’t just because we feel like we have to. Porter Jr. has only made more than two three-pointers in two of his past eight games, and we’re not expecting him to have a hot shooting game tonight.
Jokic has taken over as the primary scorer for this team, leaving minimal opportunities like Porter Jr. While he is a great playmaker, we’re recommending taking the under on Porter Jr.’s three-point total tonight.
