4 Underdog Fantasy NBA Props for Friday, April 21

It’s Friday, and we have some pretty great games on the NBA slate tonight, heading into the weekend. The playoffs should continue to provide great matchups and some huge individual performances to boot.

With that being said, let’s dive into our favorite player props for tonight’s action. If you're looking for a props-style DFS experience, we highly recommend these folks.

Jayson Tatum UNDER 29.5 Points

It’s no secret that Tatum is one of the best players in the NBA. His combination of size, speed, and shooting ability has materialized into an all-around stud.

However, the Boston Celtics are up 2-0 on the Atlanta Hawks heading into Atlanta tonight. In their first two meetings, Tatum scored 29 and 25 points, respectively. The Celtics have dominated the series thus far but have found scoring contributions from across the board, not just Tatum.

While we’re not necessarily expecting the Celtics to take their feet off the gas tonight, we are anticipating a quieter night from Tatum. This is why we recommend the under on his 29.5-point total.

Trae Young OVER 25 Points

If somebody sees Trae Young, can they let him know that the playoffs have started? In the first two playoff games of the season, Young has averaged 20 points, which is incredibly low compared to his standards.

While we’re not anticipating Young to have a 50-point performance, we would be surprised if he went under 25 points.

The Hawks are now in desperate mode and are coming home to Atlanta in must-win mode. If there was ever a night for Young to get back on track, we’re betting that tonight is that night.

Donovan Mitchell OVER 36 Points and Assists

Donovan Mitchell’s back must really hurt, considering how much he has carried the Cleveland Cavaliers as of late. Mitchell has started the playoffs with two impressive performances, including a 38-5-8 stat line in game one.

With the series tied at 1-1, Mitchell is slated to have another big night, both as a scorer and as a passer. Mitchell has gone over the 36 points and assists mark in five of his last six games and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.

In a must-win game in New York tonight, look for Mitchell to have another dominant performance, crushing the over on this mark.

Immanuel Quickley OVER 1.5 Made Three Pointers

Quickley was recently passed over for the Sixth Man of the Year award. He has been an incredibly impactful player on this New York Knicks team, putting up nearly 29 minutes a game.

On the year, Quickley is shooting 37% from the three-point line and has made at least 2 three-pointers in eight of his last ten games.

We’re expecting tonight’s game to feature scoring in bunches, and Quickley should have no problem going over his three-point total.
