Through the first two weeks, the NBA’s class of elite teams are displaying their strength this season. In the Eastern Conference, Cleveland (8-0) and Boston (7-1) are the only two teams with a winning mark thus far.
Out west, the top nine teams have winning records, but Oklahoma City (7-0), Phoenix (6-1), and Golden State (6-1) are definitely in a class all of their own. Which players from these top teams will have big nights on Wednesday? We’ll cover that in our top four NBA Player Prop Bets for Wednesday, November 6.
Two of the league’s top teams square off when Golden State invades Boston tonight. The Warriors have reformed their nucleus around Buddy Hield and Andrew Wiggins but point guard Stephen Curry always plays a role in his team’s games.
With both Hield and Wiggins playing masterfully through seven games, Curry has taken a back seat as he looks to set up others in Golden State’s offense. That doesn’t mean he can’t score; indeed, he’s averaging 19.8 points per game and 41 percent from beyond the three-point line.
To cover this player prop bet, Curry would need to hit five three-point field goals against the Celtics. It’s certainly possible as Curry is a danger from nearly everywhere on the court. But he’s yet to hit more than four in a game this season, so bettors should take the under here.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have jumped out to their best-ever start in franchise history, needing a win to set the record tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans, who are 3-5 heading into this contest. Part of that hot start is due to power forward Evan Mobley.
The 6-foot-11 big man is tied for 30th in the league with 8.1 rebounds per night, and he’s due for a big game against the Pelicans. Expect him to finish with at least nine as he covers this player prop bet.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander | Over 29.5 Points | |
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander | Under 30.5 Points |
Oklahoma City is the only other undefeated team in the NBA thanks to the play of their elite starting five. The Thunder power their offense through point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as the 6-foot-6 guard is among the top 12 in points (25.7) and assists (6.9) per game.
Against the Denver Nuggets, he’s been special more times than not. Last season, SGA delivered 25 or more points three times, including 34- and 40-point contests. Expect him to finish strong again tonight and score at least 28 points for the fourth time this season.
Since his last season in Houston, Clippers point guard James Harden has been among the league leaders in assists, averaging over 10 per season until his first season in Los Angeles. In 2023-2024, Harden finished with only 8.5 assists per game while learning how to work in the Clippers offense.
The veteran guard seems to have a better grasp on his role now as he’s just shy of 10 assists per game this season. If not for slow outings over the past two games, he’d be above that total for the year.
Against Philadelphia on Wednesday, bettors should feel confident in making this choice. Last year, Harden recorded 14 assists in both games against his former team, and he’ll look to finish with a double-digit total tonight to cover this player prop bet.
