4 NBA Player Prop Picks for Tuesday, December 19

Happy Tuesday, everyone! We have a small slate of NBA action tonight, with just four games taking place. However, with a marquee matchup between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors on the docket, fans nationwide will likely stay up late to see this epic showdown.

There are three games besides the Celtics-Warriors tip-off, so we decided to share our favorite player prop from each game of the night. Without further fanfare, here are our four favorite NBA plays tonight, all of which can be found on Underdog!

Ja Morant UNDER 37.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists

If you have lived under a rock for the past several months, Ja Morant has been serving a suspension. He hasn’t played at all this year for the Memphis Grizzlies, which is a big reason for their poor record.

Morant makes his season debut tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans after not playing in an NBA game since April 28th. While Morant is a talented player, we expect rust to catch up to him tonight.

This PRA of 37.5 points seems incredibly high in his debut, so we are taking the under on this total. He needs to prove that he’s fully back for us to trust him with an over, especially a PRA total of nearly 40.

Brook Lopez OVER 5.5 Rebounds

We love this spot for Brook Lopez tonight. Lopez continues to carve out a significant role on the Milwaukee Bucks’ roster, and he’s likely to see a lot of minutes tonight.

Victor Wembayama isn’t slated to play for the San Antonio Spurs in this game, giving Lopez less height to contend with on the boards. Look for Lopez to be highly effective on the glass, logging at least six rebounds in this one.

Kevin Durant OVER .5 Double-Doubles (2.5X Boost!)

This is more of a fun play than anything tonight. We recognize that Kevin Durant isn’t exactly a double-double machine and is not a big assist or rebound-getter. However, he sometimes pops for big games in those areas, and tonight might be the night for him to make that happen.

The Phoenix Suns take on the Portland Trail Blazers, a matchup especially favorable for Durant in the rebounding category. Look for him to have a big night, hopefully cashing this 2.5x boost from Underdog!

Jayson Tatum OVER .5 Double-Doubles

While Durant isn’t necessarily a threat to put together a double-double on a nightly basis, Tatum certainly is. The Celtics are the best team in the Eastern Conference, and Tatum has been a big reason for that.

He has achieved a double-double in 10 games this year and continues to be a star player for the Celtics. In a big game against the Warriors, look for Tatum to have at least a double-double tonight, cashing this play quickly!
