3 MLB Best Bets for Wednesday, June 21

We split a 4-pack of baseball selections last night. The Braves and the Cubbies got a couple of nice wins for us to get things started off on the right foot. Unfortunately, our plays on the Marlins and Guardians didn't go so well.

Oh well, 2-2 is never the end of the world. Let's get right with 3 MLB Best Bets for Wednesday, June 21. Best of luck with your action!

Best Bet: Reds -1.5 (-120)

Cincy has made us some nice coin during their current 10-game winning streak, and we don't even mind laying the run line with them for a little daytime action. Colorado is going in the opposite direction, as they've dropped 7 straight ball games. This Reds club could very well end up winning the NL Central, as they're currently in 1st place by a half game over the Brewers.

Have you seen rookie lefty Andrew Abbott pitch yet? This kid is 3-0 and has yet to allow an earned run through his first 3 big-league starts. Abbott has a knee-buckling curveball that ranks in the 89th percentile.

On the flip side, Connor Seabold has had a rough go of it this year. He's just 1-3 with an ERA near 6 and a WHIP of 1.48. Look for Joey Votto to keep providing an added boost for this Reds club today.

Best Bet: Braves (+115)

So, let me get this straight! We're getting the best offensive team in baseball at a dog price? Sign us up! Atlanta leads all of baseball in both homers and OPS. There are no easy outs in this lineup.

Aaron Nola will get the ball for Philly, and though he's pretty solid, he's been getting hit harder than normal this season. His ERA is 4.66 and his barrel rate only ranks in the 42nd percentile, which is uncharacteristic for him.

Look for Matt Olson, Ozzie Albies, and Ronald Acuna Jr to once again terrorize this Philly pitching staff. Take the Bravos at this nice price!

Best Bet: Giants (+105)

This Giants team is fun to watch! They've won 9 in a row after last night's walk-off walk! The Padres, on the other hand, still aren't playing up to their potential. San Diego is just 5-5 over their last 10.

The Padres are still having trouble hitting righties, which is a huge surprise with their lineup for of superstars. San Diego is hitting just .218 and averaging just 4.21 runs per game against RHP. Contrast that with San Fran, who is hitting .246 and averaging 5.31 runs per game against righties!

This Giants lineup has enjoyed a lot of success against SD starter Yu Darvish. The entire team has 8 career homers off Darvish. Three of those bombs are credited to Mike Yastrzemski. Let's take the G-Men to extend their winning streak to 10 tonight at home.
