Brian Harman is the defending Open Champion and while it may be difficult to go back-to-back, we still like him to win this sole matchup. He finished 6th in 2022 and is currently 19th on Tour in total strokes gained this season.
Homa is no slouch, as he finished 10th last year. However, he is coming off a cut at the US Open, finished 61st at the Travelers, and now a 70th place finish at the Scottish Open.
Harman, on the other hand, finished 21st at the US Open, 9th at the Travelers, and 21st at the Scottish. He will outlast Homa this weekend. Give us the lefty!
Rory seemed to be on the track after his disastrous finish at the US Open as he finished 4th at the Scottish Open last weekend. His track record here at the Open has been great. He was 2nd in 2018, 3rd in 2022, and 6th last year.
He faces Bryson here, who has been in strong in the major tournaments this season. However, outside of an 8th place finish in 2022, he has not been able to replicate that in all other years.
If DeChambeau is going to win this matchup, his ego will need to be put aside and his tee shots need to be clubbed down in order to find the fairways. We like Rory’s consistency in this matchup. The juice is worth the squeeze on this one!
Last year, in his Open debut, McCarthy missed the cut. That aside, he finished inside the Top 40 in 5 of his last 6 events. He is 1st on Tour in putting and 6th on Tour in scrambling.
These two stats are viewed as some of the most important factors in competing in this tournament. The +150 price isn't too shabby on this one either.
Fleetwood is 9th in scrambling and 5th in driving accuracy. In his last 5 events, Fleetwood has finished inside the Top 20 in 4 of them.
Tommy is typically in one of the later groups on Sunday at the Open and his Top 20 finishes in 4 of his last 5 starts in this major prove that point. We like him to get back to that top 20 once again.
Hovland has been a bit erratic this season, but he does have 6 finishes inside the Top 25 in his 12 starts this season. Here at the Open, he has finishes of 12th in 2021, 4th in 2022, and 13th last year.
Vik has the ability to be in contention and a Top 20 finish here is certainly within his reach. Give us the plus money on one of the best young players in the world.
In 4 of his last 5 Open Championships, Xander has finished no worse than 26th. He leads the Tour with 51 consecutive made cuts. He is coming off a 15th place finish at the Scottish Open and a 13th finish at the Travelers.
The X Man has 11 Top 10 finishes this season in 17 events this year. He has been a model of consistency, and we like him to get up inside that Top 10 once again.
