Hubbard has made the cut in all 18 events he has started this season. He has competed in the John Deere over the last 3 years and has gradually finished stronger each year.
After a 41st place finish in 2021 he grabbed a 13th place finish in 2022 and then last year broke into the Top 10 with a 6th place finish. He faces Patrick Rodgers who has missed 2 cuts over his last 5 starts this season.
Here at the John Deere, he is coming off missing the cut last year. Hubbard should be able to find himself in the later groups over the weekend where Rodgers could be sent home early once again.
Power has been hit or miss over the last 7 starts this season. While he missed 3 cuts over those last 7, he has had finishes of 20th, 27th, 16th, and 12th in those other starts.
While at the John Deere, he has finishes inside the Top 20 in 3 of the last 4 starts here. He has Hossler as a competitor in this matchup. While he has finished 26th in 2 of the last 3 years, he missed the cut the season between them.
Over his last 5 starts, he has missed 3 of those cuts. We like the consistency of Power here in this one and will take him at the juiced price.
Schenk has arguably been the best competitor here at the John Deere since 2019. While he was forced to withdraw in 2022, his other 3 finishes were all inside the Top 10 with the worst being 6th.
He could be worth a smaller play on both Top 20 and Top 10 with this type of course history.
In 3 of his last 6 starts this season, Svensson has finished inside the Top 40. At the John Deere, he has not finished worse than 24th.
He should have no problem finishing inside the Top 40 here once again, and the juiced number is worth the price.
Sigg currently ranks inside the Top 15 on Tour in strokes gained on approach to green and is 43rd in driving accuracy. His 16th place finish at the John Deere in 2022 was only outshined by his 13th place finish last year.
We believe he can be around that Top 20 spot once again and getting him a plus money here for a Top 40 is a gift we will happily take.
In strokes gained on approaches to the grain, Glover is currently ranked 13th on Tour. His track record at the John Deere is what really entices us to play him here.
Take away his missed cut in 2022, and the other 3 starts he finished inside the Top 10 with an outright win in 2021. His ability to play well here will make this one of our easier cashes in this tournament.
