Travelers Championship Course Preview and Best Bets

Just a few days after winning his first major title, J.J. Spaun will go for back-to-back wins at the 2025 Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Connecticut. The new US Open champ is currently sitting at +4500 odds over at DraftKings to win the tournament.

Get ready for the 2025 Travelers Championship by reading our tournament guide. Our PGA Tour insider has some placement props and a head-to-head bet for June 19. Enjoy the action, and best of luck.

Top 40: Min Woo Lee (-175)

Min Woo has been struggling a bit since his win back in March at the Houston Open. He is 51st on Tour in total strokes gained but it has been his inability to hit his approach shots tight that have been costing him scoring opportunities.

Here at the Travelers, he will likely be in position to hit easier approach shots due to the short total distance of the course. There are only 72 players in the field, we don’t need him to win, just outplay 30+ others.

Top 30: Rickie Fowler (+110)

Rickie has been inside the Top 30 in 4 of his last 6 starts this season. In his last 2 starts here at the Travelers, he has posted a 13th-place finish in 2023, and a 20th-place finish last year.

His game has seemingly turned a corner this year after having a few subpar seasons as of late. We like him to thrive here in Connecticut once again and grab a Top 30 finish.

Top 20: Keegan Bradley (+120)

Keegan, aka Captain America, has fared well here at TPC River Highlands. In 2022, he finished 19th before winning the event outright the following year.

He has finished in the Top 20 in 3 of his last 5 events and is still trying to play his way onto his own Ryder Cup team. We like Keegan to take advantage of this final signature event and use it to catapult himself into the mix for the Ryder Cup team.

FT Matchup: Hideki Matsuyama OVER Jordan Spieth (-110)

Spieth has not had success here at TPC River Highlands over the years. His best finish was 54th back in 2020. He has a missed cut and 2 finishes outside the Top 30 in 3 of his last 5 starts.

On the other side, Hideki has been strong at the Travelers. He finished 13th in 2023 and 23rd in 2024. We like Hideki to continue his stellar play on this track in this matchup.
