Billy Horschel (-130) OVER Aaron Rai
Billy ended up not taking part in the 3M Open and took the time off after finishing 2nd at the Open Championship. The runner-up finish made it his 9th top 25 finish of the season. Now he is at the Wyndham where he has had incredible success.
His worst finish was 27th in 2022. Outside of that, he has finished in the top 10 in his other 3 years competing here. He faces Aaron Rai, who has not had even close to the same success as Billy here.
He finished 71st in 2022 and missed the cut last year. We like Billy to be competitive once again here and top Rai with relative ease.
Cam Davis (-120) OVER Min Woo Lee
Cam Davis finished inside the top 20 at the 3M Open and won the Rocket Mortgage just over a month ago. He has been playing top notch golf and now is at an event where he has excelled at historically.
He was 22nd in 2019 and followed that up with a 15th place finish in 2020. After 2 years off, he returned last season and placed 7th. He will face Min Woo Lee in this matchup who has yet to play in this event. We like the experience that Davis brings to the table her.
Taylor Moore (+125) OVER Jordan Spieth
Spieth has a lot to play for this weekend. He needs to get inside the Top 50 on Tour or win in order to secure his spot in the signature events next season. After missing the cut at the Genesis, he was able to nab a 25th place finish at the Open Championship.
He has not finished better than 72nd over the last 5 years here. Taylor Moore, on the other hand, was 5th in 2022 and 22nd last season. We like Moore playing on a track he is comfortable against Spieth who will be feeling some pressure.
Top 20 Finish: Webb Simpson (+320)
What value we are getting here. Webb has not been playing top notch golf this season, but he has always produced here at the Wyndham Championship.
In 2022 he did have to withdraw, but outside of that, he has finished inside the top 10 in 4 of his other 5 starts. Last year was a 5th place finish and there is no reason to believe he cannot replicate what he has consistently done here.
Top 20 Finish: Sungjae Im (-140)
Im is the odds-on favorite to win the event. So, to get him at a slightly juiced -140 price here to finish in the Top 20 seems like it is worth the risk.
Over the last 5 years, Im has only missed out on a top 20 finish once, that was his 24th place finish in 2022. He should be in contention once again this weekend and the Top 20 is extremely likely.
