2024 WM Phoenix Open Best Matchup Bets and Placement Props

The 2024 Waste Management Phoenix Open, known in the golfing community as the rowdiest event of the year, tees off shortly. Golf fans from around the world always look forward to the iconic 16th hole, which is considered the loudest in all of golf.

Need help betting on the 2024 WM Phoenix Open? You've come to the right spot. In this post, we'll dive into our best matchup bets and top placement props for this remarkable tournament. Best of luck and enjoy the action!

Sungjae Im OVER Tom Kim (-120)

Despite making the cut last week, Im struggled through the weekend to a 66th place finish. However, he has made the cut here at the WM Open 4 straight years. He finished 6th for his best career finish here last year.

Kim, on the other hand, competed in his 1st ever WM Open last year and finished just 50th. He is coming off a 31st place finish at Pebble where he bounced back from missing the cut at the AMEX.

Hideki Matsuyama OVER Corey Conners (+100)

Matsuyama has made the cut here in 5 straight starts and has been inside the Top 20 in 3 of those years. Last year he finished just inside the Top 30 when he finished tied for 29th. He played well last week after a rough +3 opening round at Pebble.

He faces Conners here who has been competitive here in the past but has only been inside the Top 25 once in 4 years. He is coming off a 31st place finish at Pebble where he was 7 under heading into the eventually cancelled final round.

Jordan Spieth OVER Sam Burns (-110)

Jordan grabbed a 3rd place finish at the Sentry to start his season and was tied for 39th heading into the final round at Pebble. Here at the WM Open, he has been exceptional over the last 2 of 3 seasons.

In 2021, he finished 4th and last year he was 6th. He should keep all his momentum going into this one this weekend. His opponent, Sam Burns, has been solid this year.

He was 6th at the AMEX and was 10th last week at the Pro-Am. Last year, he finished tied with Spieth but the year prior he failed to make the cut.

Top 40 Finish: Billy Horschel (+110)

Billy finished inside the Top 40 in over half of his starts last season. This season he started out rocky. He missed the cut in back-to-back events in late January.

He did not participate in last week’s Pro-Am but here at the WM, he has had success. In 4 of his last 5 starts here in Phoenix, Billy has been able to grab a Top 40 finish.

Top 40 Finish: Sungjae Im (-140)

Im has yet to fall outside the Top 40 here at the WM Open. Last season, in 24 of his 31 events, Im was able to find his way inside the Top 40.

We expect him to do what he naturally does and get a decent finish without giving us much of a sweat here.
