Tom Kim (-105) OVER Min Woo Lee
Tom Kim is currently 13th on Tour in driving accuracy and 28th in birdie average. He is coming off a missed cut at the Rocket Mortgage Classic but was 2nd at the Travelers and 26th at the US Open.
He has 6 top 25 finishes on the season and only 3 missed cuts. Here at the Scottish Open, he has been uber successful. Last year he finished 6th and was 3rd in the year previous.
Lee missed the cut here in 2022 but managed to finish 35th last year. While Lee has been playing solid golf, we like the course history to favor Kim in this matchup.
Tommy Fleetwood (-125) OVER Viktor Hovland
Fleetwood has 3 straight Top 20 finishes in his last 3 starts this season. He was 20th at the Memorial, 16th at the US Open, and 15th at the Travelers.
Now we get him on a track where he finished 4th in 2022 and 6th in 2023. He faces an inconsistent Viktor Hovland here. While Hovland finished 15th at the Memorial and 20th at the Travelers, he failed to make the cut at the US Open.
Here at the Scottish Open, he finished 25th last year but missed the cut the year previous. We like the consistency in which Fleetwood is playing at over the erratic play of Hovland.
Top 40 Finish: Thorbjørn Olesen (+150)
Olesen already has 4 finishes inside the Top 40 on the PGA Tour this season. He is 43rd in strokes gained putting and will need that flatstick to be on point here this week.
His history at the Scottish Open is solid. After finishing 30th in 2022, he followed that up with a 25th place finish last year. We like the improvement from year to year and like the plus money value on the Top 40 for him this week.
Top 40 Finish: Gary Woodland (+280)
It has been a really rough year for Woodland this season. He has missed more cuts (9) than he has made (8). The one bright spot statistically for him has been his ability to drive the ball consistently.
He is 7th on Tour in driving distance with an average of 312.3 yards per drive. We are banking on that serving him well on a course where he has matched the finishes of Olesen of 30th in 2022 and 25th last year.
Top 40 Finish: Jordan Smith (+120)
Playing most of his golf on the DP World Tour, Smith has finished his 15 tournaments at a 40th place average. He is 4th on the DPWT in greens in regulation and 18th in driving percentage.
His 24th place finish at the Scottish Open was outdone by his 12th place finish last year. Getting him at plus money here seems like a steal.
Top 30 Finish: Wyndham Clark (-105)
Clark is 12th on Tour in total strokes gained and 5th in driving distance. He is coming off a really solid 9th place finish at the Travelers and has a strong course history here at the Scottish Open.
He was 16th in 2022 and 25th in 2023. He should have no problem getting inside the Top 30 once again here.
