This weekend might be one of, if not the most anticipated Championship Weekend in some time. The Eagles and the 49ers have two of the league’s best defenses, and the storylines that exist in the Chiefs-Bengals game will truly be something to watch.

With that in mind, here are a few of our favorite Underdog player props to take advantage of on Sunday. Best of luck with all your action this weekend.

Play of the Weekend: Travis Kelce OVER 7 Receptions

Travis Kelce has been one of the NFL’s most consistent pass catchers over the past several seasons. He tends to come up with monster games in the postseason and is the most reliable offensive weapon on the Chiefs.

Kelce is coming off a 17-target, 14-reception game and looks to turn in yet another big performance. Plus, Kelce has seven or more receptions in three of his last five games and has proven that this is an easy number for him to eclipse. Take the over on Sunday with confidence.

Christian McCaffrey OVER 0.5 Rushing & Receiving Touchdowns

Death, taxes, and Christian McCaffrey. Even with an ankle injury, McCaffrey continues to be a key contributor for the 49ers. He has scored a touchdown in eight straight games and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.

Although he was acquired by the 49ers mid-season, McCaffrey has integrated seamlessly into the 49er’s offense, garnering the trust of both the coaching staff and his teammates. While nothing in sports is a guarantee, we like McCaffrey’s odds of finding the endzone this weekend.

Brock Purdy UNDER 220.5 Passing Yards

In his young career thus far, Brock Purdy hasn’t had a “rookie” moment. He has performed well in the games that he has needed to and has played mistake-free football, for the most part. However, all good things must come to an end.

The Eagles will present the most difficult, opportunistic defense that Purdy has faced, and we’re expecting him to have a down game as a result. Purdy might eclipse 200 yards in this game, but we’re still anticipating him to hit under 220.5.

Patrick Mahomes OVER 0.5 Interceptions

We want to start this by saying that Patrick Mahomes has been one of the most electrifying players in the NFL this season. There is a good chance that he will be the MVP of the league, considering that he led all quarterbacks in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and passer rating.

However, Mahomes tends to turn the ball over this season, throwing 15 picks on the year. While the Chiefs might be slight favorites over the Bengals in this game, Mahomes could still throw an interception (or two) en route to a victory.

Trenton Irwin OVER 8.5 Receiving Yards

The Bengals have an embarrassment of offensive riches on their hands. Tee Higgins, Ja’Marr Chase, Joe Mixon, and Hayden Hurst are their main contributors. However, Joe Burrow tends to throw the ball to a lesser-known player as well.

Trenton Irwin has eclipsed 8.5 yards in nine games this season. We’re anticipating at least one or two targets to go Irwin’s way, and if he catches one of them, this over should hit. His average yards per reception this year is 15.4, another positive sign for the over.
