Prelim Top Play: Julien Marquez

Best Available Odds: +130 at WynnBet

Marquez is 3-2 in his last 5 fights. He is coming off an early KO/TKO loss to the hard-hitting Gregory Rodrigues.

His 3 wins over this stretch have come via submission, and while the value is incredibly enticing, we would only play half our bet here on the sub and rather play a larger sum on the money line.

He is facing Marc-Andre Barriault, who has lost 2 of his last 3, with the latest one coming via submission to Anthony Hernandez. Marquez will have the advantage on the mat, but this could end up going the distance which is why we prefer the money line here.

Prelim Card Underdog Play: Trevin Jones

Best Available Odds: +155 at Caesars

Cody Garbrandt’s quick rise to an 11-0 record after TUF was impressive. However, he has lost 5 of his last 6 fights. Outside of a crazy KO of Raphael Assuncao, Cody has looked pedestrian, to say the least.

Jones will have a huge reach advantage in this one, and Cody is likely to have trouble getting in close to use his quick striking. Now, Jones has been just underwhelming lately.

He has lost 3 straight fights. However, the 4.5-inch reach advantage will play to the advantage of Jones in this one.

Prelim Card Top Parlay: Dricus Du Plessis & Ian Garry

Best Available Odds: -155 at DraftKings

Ian Garry has his undefeated record on the line, but it's in the final of the early prelim card. We believe he is going to want to put on a show and prove he should be higher up on cards in the future.

Unfortunately for Song Kenan, he will be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Speaking of feeling disrespected, that is exactly how Du Plessis feels, and he made it known at the presser.

He is fired up and will want to put on another one of his amazing shows as he has done over his last handful of fights. It's juicy here but well worth it.

Main Event Play: Jones/Gane Fight to Go the Distance

Best Available Odds: -125 at FanDuel

Gane’s loss to Francis came via decision, and a majority of Jones’s fights have ended after a full 3-5 rounds. This being his 1st fight at heavyweight and his 1st fight in a number of years, we believe he is going to want to conserve his energy a bit.

Gane is going to have a lot to figure out with Jones and will likely spend the majority of the early rounds feeling him out as he looks for the best way to get inside on him.

In the end, this one will go the distance and could turn out to be one of the best fights of the year. Let’s hope for just that, so we can cash the ticket after 5 rounds.

Main Card Top Play: Jalin Turner

Best Available Odds: +185 at BetMGM

Folks keep doubting Turner, but we are not among that group. He has been on fire, winning 5 straight fights. All 5 fights ended with a finish, as 3 came via submission and 2 by KO/TKO.

Gamrot faces him here and is coming off just his 2nd loss of his career to a rising Dariush. Turner has a near 7in reach advantage, and if he can stuff the majority of takedown attempts, we believe he can come out on top here once again.

Main Card Top Parlay: Jones & Nickal/Under 1.5 Rounds

Best Available Odds: +115 at DraftKings

Nickal makes his debut here against Pickett and has yet to have a fight go past the 1st round. He was a monster on DWCS and is a former All-American wrestler.

He is likely to put Pickett on the ground immediately and dominate this one. On the off chance this goes into the 2nd round, this should save us.

We have been conflicted on the Jones/Gane fight all week. In the end, we are following the money here, and the rumor that Gane has an injured hand makes this decision a bit easier.
