An iconic brand in the sports world, SI recently made the move into the U.S. betting industry with the launch of SI Sportsbook. In the following review, we'll cover how SI Sportsbook currently stacks up compared to industry-leaders like FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM.

Every sports fan with a pulse has heard of Sports Illustrated. However, lots of people don't know that Sports Illustrated now has its own sportsbook.
Just how big can SI Sportsbook be? That remains to be seen, but over 1.5 million people still subscribe to Sports Illustrated. Just think of how many of those readers they can turn into sportsbook patrons!
Is SI Sportsbook worth signing up with? Our goal with this review is to give you an honest assessment of SI Sportsbook. After reading this, you can make a more informed decision.
An important thing to look at when comparing sportsbooks is the opinions of their current customers. We've rounded up reviews and ratings for SI Sportsbook across both the App Store and Play Store. Find the current SI Sportsbook rating on each app, as well as an overall rating across all reviews, in the table below.
Our team analyzed a variety of SI Sportsbook reviews to identify what current players think are the best and worst features of the sports betting app. It is worth noting that online reviews tend to swing more negatively than positively by nature, so an aggregate rating of 3.7 is an overwhelmingly positive sentiment from existing players.

Looking at our ratings for SI Sportsbook, lines and juice are an aspect that they are just average at. That being said, it is not all terrible for SI Sportsbook so let's start with the good stuff.
Lines on the SI Sportsbook load quickly and can be easily viewed. They offer competitive prices on MLB underdogs and you can sometimes find some interesting numbers on totals as well.
However, one look at SI Sportsbook's lines will tell you that they clearly drive up the prices of their favorites. For example, lots of sportsbooks like FanDuel are offering the Detroit Tigers -120 over the Oakland A's. SI Sportsbook is offering the Detroit Tigers at -133 on the same game!
That 13-cent difference may not sound like a lot, but it can cost you hundreds or even thousands of dollars in juice over the course of a season. Overall though, we give SI Sportsbook an average rating as far as lines and juice are concerned.
That being said, the one area that SI Sportsbook stands out is with odds boosts. There are always plenty of options listed at the top of the SI Sportsbook website and app.
This is one area that is a clear strength for SI Sportsbook. As you could probably tell from the ratings on the App Store and Play Store, most folks rate the SI Sportsbook website and app as above-average.
We agree with their assessment, and even rate them 4.6 stars out of 5. Both the website and the app load lines quickly and there doesn't seem to be any lagging issues.
The overall layout of both the app and the website makes it extremely easy for the player to find the game they are wanting to bet on. SI Sportsbook made a wise move by partnering with 888 Sport because they are well-versed in sportsbook technology.
Here's another area that SI Sportsbook thrives in. While it's not uncommon to see new sportsbooks offer lucrative bonuses, it's always nice to see and usually results in lots of new signups.
The current bet $5, get $100 in Bonus Bets offer from SI Sportsbook is one of the best new player offers in the state of Virginia. We love the fact that it doesn't require a large deposit. It's always nice to get to try a new product with minimal financial risk and SI Sportsbook gives new players that opportunity.
With the 2024 NBA season in full swing, don't be surprised if SI Sportsbook chooses to up the ante on its new player bonus offer, but these are already some of the best promotions in the industry.
This is a surprising weakness of SI Sportsbook, at least so far. While we love the handy Q&A page, we can't ignore the fact that SI Sportsbook doesn't offer a live chat option. They also don't list a Customer Support phone number to call, which is a bit of a turn-off for customers who need immediate assistance.
SI Sportsbook relies on its Q&A page and email support to address customer issues and concerns. While helping customers via email is perfectly acceptable, it can take up to 24 hours to get a reply. That can be incredibly frustrating if you have a pressing issue.
That said, we have to remember that SI Sportsbook is new to the game and they're only in two states at the moment. As they break into more markets, it's likely that they will improve their customer support options.

Man, i definitely miss Sports Illustrated the magazine, but their sportsbook product isn't too bad. The registration process is easy and they offer all of the sports I enjoy betting.
