While most Ohio sports fans will likely place their first bets with one of the major sports betting apps, in-person betting will also be available across the state on Sunday. In total, 12 retail sportsbooks have received approval to open their doors and start accepting bets.
Three operators will open multiple retail sportsbook locations, including Barstool Sportsbook, which will feature sportsbooks in Columbus, Dayton, Toledo, and Youngstown. BetJACK will open two locations in the greater Cleveland area, and BetMGM will open locations in Northfield and Cincinnati.

While most of the sports betting that happens in Ohio will be done online, nothing beats the thrill of betting in a brick-and-mortar sportsbook. All 12 of the state's sportsbooks are located in or around a major city. Use the map below to find a sportsbook location near you.
While legal sports betting is an exciting change in Ohio, it is important to keep a few things in mind before you hit the road to any of the new sportsbook locations listed on this page. Here are some of our top tips:
Check current business hours: While most of the brick-and-mortar sportsbooks located in an Ohio casino will be available 24/7, several are subject to the hours of the establishment in which they are located. If the sportsbook is located in a sports bar, it may not be open until 5 pm. It's good practice to check hours before heading to the sportsbook.
The best bonus offers are online only: While we love the thrill of in-person betting, it is still a good idea to register online first. Most Ohio sportsbooks are offering bonus bets to all new players that register online. These offers are not available to in-person bettors. We've built a page to track every Ohio sportsbook bonus, register using these offers before arriving to the sportsbook.
Be sure to gamble responsibly: Sports betting is only fun when done responsibly. Set a limit and stick to it. Call 1-800-GAMBLER if you need help or think you have a gambling addiction.
