Just over a week out from Super Bowl Sunday, let’s take a look at some of the best longshot bets to make for Eagles vs Chiefs part II. Kenneth Gainwell was featured heavily in this matchup two years ago and continued his great 2024 campaign with a few big catches in last week’s game against Washington.
He’s +1200 to score a touchdown and if you remember back to the last Super Bowl matchup, he was the featured red zone back in the first quarter. On the other side of the ball, look for JuJu Smith-Schuster to continue his elite playoff connection with Patrick Mahomes against Philly’s secondary. He is +750 to gain at least 50 yards next Sunday.

Kenneth Gainwell | Yes Anytime Touchdown Scorer |
Gainwell has only scored once this season. That said, the Philadelphia offense will look to keep the Kansas City offense off the field as much as they can. This season, the Eagles rushed the ball more than any other team (36.1 times per game).
With 28 total goal-line touches this season, the potential for a Gainwell touchdown isn’t out of the question. Barkley is due for his 25+ touches on Super Bowl Sunday, leaving KG as the secondary running back due to shine in this massive moment.
Gainwell had 11 total touches for 41 yards in Philly’s last Super Bowl appearance, showing that Sirianni has plenty of trust in the speedy back.
Smith-Schuster has been a force for Kansas City towards the later parts of their last few seasons. In the Eagles/Chiefs 2022 matchup in the Super Bowl, JuJu went for 53 yards on seven catches and just last week in Kansas City’s dramatic win against Buffalo, the veteran wideout went for 60 yards on two long catches from Mahomes.
JuJu is a trusted target in an offense that has gone away from Travis Kelce more often than not this season. While Hopkins, Kelce, and Worthy will serve as the focus point for the Philly defense, Smith-Schuster could break away for another big gain in this game. At +750, we like this longshot play.

Saquon Barkley | Over 12.5 Reception Yards | |
Saquon Barkley | Under 13.5 Reception Yards |
With the Chiefs' rush defense and pressure playing at a high level right now, it wouldn’t be surprising if Barkley gets at least one catch within the Eagles' first few drives. The electric Saquon has caught six balls for 53 yards in first quarters this season.
With Kansas City’s pressure due to ramp up and try and stunt Hurts early on I’m predicting a simple dump down to Barkley to get some chunks of yardage in the first quarter. Securing just one catch last game against Washington, this is the best first-quarter bet on the Super Bowl slate.
