Wednesday NBA Odds, 2 Best Bets, and Top Player Prop for January 29

For our best prop bet of Wednesday’s games, look to the Indiana Pacers returning from their Paris trip to run all over the Detroit Pistons who are nursing a two-game losing streak. Andrew Nembhard should start this game off with his aggressive driving, opening up opportunities for the Pacers' shooters.

Elsewhere, the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns should be able to move up the Western Conference leaderboard with wins today against matchups that Vegas projects to come down to the wire. After losing five straight to Minnesota, look for Booker and the Suns to finally get revenge at home.

Live player props data coming soon for Andrew Nembhard.

G Andrew Nembhard (IND) OVER 20.5 PRA

With the Pacers back from their Paris trip, they are home favorites tonight against a tough Detroit team that can’t seem to string together a winning streak this season. With a young Pistons squad searching for their first win in one week, this is the type of game for Indiana to dominate with fresh legs.

Expect the duo of Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell to win this game for the Pacers. Nembhard has been a focal point as of late, hitting the 21+ PRA mark in four of his last six games. The Pacers combo guard should start this game off aggressively similar to his last game in Paris where he scored 7 first-quarter points alongside 3 dimes and 2 boards.

It’s no secret. The New Orleans Pelicans are bad. New Orleans has lost three straight, including two nights ago to the Toronto Raptors, who are currently in the capture the Flagg race. With New Orleans unable to stop anyone on the defensive end, I’m expecting Quentin Grimes, Klay Thompson, and Kyrie Irving to put New Orleans to sleep tonight.

Klay is coming off his electric 1st quarter masterclass against Washington, while P.J. Washington and Quentin Grimes have been incredible in their roles as Luka Doncic continues to sit on the bench for Kidd’s squad.

Best Bet: Phoenix Suns (+105)

The Suns look to move their three-game win streak to four as they take on Anthony Edwards and the Wolves in this Wednesday night matchup. Phoenix is 15-8 at home this season while riding a five-game home win streak into tonight, while the Wolves are 13-11 in away games this season.

The Suns have figured something out with their lineup, bringing Bradley Beal off the bench and turning to Royce O’Neale and Nick Richards as perfect frontcourt running mates for the trio of Tyus Jones, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant.

Booker and Phoenix are looking to avenge their first-round sweep from last postseason and their three-point loss in Minnesota earlier in the season. Phoenix gets the job done at home tonight behind Booker and Durant.
