This line hasn't seen a ton of movement throughout the week, with most books bouncing it between Dallas -3 and -4. As was to be expected, the public is heavy on the Cowboys, but smart money has come in on the Eagles, keeping this line relatively stable at Dallas -3.5.

Philadelphia Eagles MNF Preview
The Philadelphia Eagles have been a very interesting team to watch this season. They came out of the gates hot in week one against the Atlanta Falcons. They dominated them on both sides of the ball. Despite having an elite receiver in Calvin Ridley, the Falcons were unable to even put up a single touchdown against the Eagles. On the other side of the ball, Jalen Hurts had a great start to the year, throwing for three touchdowns and 264 yards.
In week two, the Eagles' offense grinded to a halt against the San Francisco 49ers. The game ended with a final score of 17-11. Hurts, despite not throwing for any touchdowns, led the Eagles in rushing yards and ran for their only touchdown of the game. Despite the shortcomings of the offense, the Eagles' defense still looked great. Only giving up 17 points to a team that scored 41 points in the previous week is an accomplishment.
Although they have been dominant up to this point in the season, the Eagles' defense will be put to the test against the Dallas Cowboys. Dak Prescott has come back from his injury looking better than ever. While their rushing attack has fallen short of expectations, the Cowboys' passing game could cause real problems for the Eagles this week.
If their defense can control the game as they have through the first two weeks of the season, they should be able to come out of Dallas with a win. However, if they let Prescott and the Cowboys control the game through the air, there will be little hope for the Eagles.
Dallas Cowboys MNF Preview
The Dallas Cowboys are coming into this week with a team that has played much better than their record shows. Despite only sitting at 1-1, the Cowboys have looked incredible. They were underdogs in both matchups they have had this season. This game against the Eagles will be the first game of the year they are favored in.
They played the reigning Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers down to the wire. It took a last-minute drive from Brady and the Bucs that concluded in a last-second field goal to win the game.
There were two big red flags with the Cowboys coming into the season. The first being how Dak Prescott would bounce back from his devastating and season-ending injury last season. The second red flag was their defense. They had one of the worst in the league last season. However, through the first two weeks, both have played at a high level.
Realistically, no one expected much out of them against the elite Tampa Bay offense. In that game, they gave up 31 points. In week two they faced off against Justin Herbert and a Chargers offense that is nothing to scoff at. In that game, the defense excelled and forced Herbert to throw for two interceptions and only one touchdown.
While the Cowboys' defense is still miles away from the elite conversation, they are good enough to get by and that is really all the Cowboys need from them. With the level of offense that the Cowboys have, they do not need the luxury of a lockdown defense to win games.
As long as Prescott can continue to do his thing and pick apart defenses and the Cowboys defense can avoid a total collapse this should be a game that they can easily handle and a game that will be very beneficial for them to win further down the line.
The NFC East may come down to the Eagles and the Cowboys fighting for the divisional spot. If they are able to take a head-to-head game from arguably the stiffest competition in their division, it would do wonders for their playoff chances this season.
Our Pick for Best Bet: Eagles +2.5
Our pick for the best bet for this MNF matchup is the Eagles, getting the current +3.5 number. If you are a bettor that typically bets on the team with the better QB, this is a tough pill to swallow, as Dak and this Cowboys offense is clearly the better group.
However, Dallas was the worst ATS team in football last season, albeit without Dak, and the Eagles are 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 MNF games.
Philadelphia also has better coaching and a superior defense. We entered the season thinking the system Jonathan Gannon brought in from Indianapolis would struggle this season, but all three Eagles corners have graded out in the top 18 in football, and in the first two weeks they held Atlanta and San Francisco 16.25 points below their scoring averages.
If we look at where the money is on this game, 65% of the tickets are on the Cowboys, but only 53% of the money, which is a pretty strong signal that a good bit of smart money is on the Eagles here.
