Our Favorite Sportsbook Offers for the 2021 Masters
There is no shortage of attractive new player offers for this year's Masters tournament. These range from 100% deposit bonus offers to $2,000 in free bets. That being said, we consider more than just the offer when determining how we rank each promotion.
For one, not all books offer the same odds and juice. In fact, some books offer significantly lower odds for every golfer in the tournament. For example, outside of Dustin Johnson, every golfer in the top 10 for this year's Masters has better odds on William Hill than FanDuel. In some cases this can mean a difference of up to $50 on a single $100 bet!
Another factor to consider is live betting. While some of the smaller US sportsbooks offer attractive pre-tournament odds, their in-game product is not on par with what you find with larger sportsbooks. Live betting is a great way to stay in the action throughout the tournament regardless of how your pre-tournament bets are playing out.
Both William Hill and PointsBet offer great Masters odds, a polished live betting product, and massive new player promotions. Lock in up to $500 in free bets or $500 in deposit bonus funds by taking advantage of one or both of these offers before the start of the 2021 Masters tournament!

Current Odds for 2021 Masters Tournament
Before we jump into the odds for this year's Masters Tournament, it is worth taking a look back at the tournament's history. Understanding past winners and the odds they entered the week with gives us a better idea of what golfers we should be looking at this year.
Here are the past 10 Masters winners with their pre-tournament odds, and where those odds ranked in the field for that year:
Year | Winner | Odds | Odds Rk. |
---|---|---|---|
2020 | Dustin Johnson | 10/1 | 1 |
2020 | Tiger Woods | 14/1 | 4 |
2018 | Patrick Reed | 40/1 | T-17 |
2017 | Sergio Garcia | 30/1 | T-9 |
2016 | Danny Willett | 50/1 | T-16 |
2015 | Jordan Spieth | 10/1 | 2 |
2014 | Bubba Watson | 20/1 | T-6 |
2013 | Adam Scott | 25/1 | T-6 |
2012 | Bubba Watson | 30/1 | T-10 |
2011 | Charl Schwartzel | 100/1 | T-35 |
With 7 of the last 10 winners entering the tournament with top-10 odds, clearly betting favorites fair quite well with the Masters. Unfortunately for bettors, past success in Augusta does not always indicated future success. For example, Watson has finished inside of the top 35 just twice since winning his second green jacket in 2014. Schwartzel has a Masters win and a runner-up, but has finished outside of the top 25 in his other 9 appearances.
As one would expect given the success of betting favorites, current form appears to play the largest role in determining the Masters winner. Looking at key statistics, bettors should really focus on a handful of important stats when analyzing the field. These include strokes gained putting, 3-putt avoidance, strokes gained around the green, bentgrass scoring, and par-4 efficiency (specifically 450-500 yards). This data can easily be found on the PGA Tour website.
In the end, we want to combine current form in these important statistical categories with current betting odds to determine which golfers are worth betting. Here is a look at those current odds for the 2021 Masters:
Golfer | Odds |
---|---|
Dustin Johnson | +600 |
Rory McIlroy | +1100 |
Brooks Koepka | +1200 |
Bryson DeChambeau | +1200 |
Jon Rahm | +1200 |
Justin Thomas | +1200 |
Xander Schauffele | +1400 |
Jordan Spieth | +2000 |
Patrick Cantlay | +2500 |
Patrick Reed | +2500 |
Hideki Matsuyama | +3300 |
Tiger Woods | +3300 |
Tony Finau | +3300 |
Tyrrell Hatton | +3300 |
Bubba Watson | +4000 |
