We took a step back with our NBA props last night with a 1-2 mark. Donovan Mitchell led the Cavs to a victory over the Wizards but he still didn't go over his point total. Alperen Sengun also burned us by dishing out more assists than we anticipated.
Our sole winner was on Zach LaVine, who comfortably stayed under his rebounding number to keep us from a total disaster of a night. Let's find a 2-1 or better fate tonight!

D'Angelo Russell OVER 2.5 Rebounds
Russell crashes the boards remarkably well for a guard, which is why we think this number is a shade too low. The former Ohio State Buckeye is averaging 3.1 rebounds per game this season and 3.8 over his last 5 outings.
Russell has also done well on the glass in his career against the Nuggets. He's grabbed 3 rebounds or more in 10 of the last 13 times he's faced Denver. That gives us confidence that Russell will go over this number tonight.
As you might have guessed, Denver isn't an elite rebounding team. They only rank 20th in the league in rebounds per game. So, we have a favorable matchup with a player that historically does well against his opponent. That's enough for us to pull the trigger with the Over.
Chris Paul OVER 8.5 Assists
CP3 has played much better since he returned to the lineup on January 22. The veteran point guard has gone over this assists number in 6 of 8 games during that timespan. For the season, Paul is averaging 9.1 assists per game in road contests.
Paul has also done well in his career as a facilitator against the Nets. He's gone over this assists total in 20 of 31 games. That's a pretty solid trend for us to hold onto tonight.
We also have a ton of market support with this play. Unibet prices this prop a full assist higher at 9.5. PointsBet prices it at 8.5 but juices the Over at -140. Those are strong indicators that the Over is the more likely scenario.
DeAndre Ayton OVER 10.5 Rebounds
Hell must be freezing over, and pigs must be flying in the sky for us to take 3 straight Overs in a single article! Sometimes we have to go against the grain and trust our numbers. Sometimes those numbers show more value in the Over, even though it's a rarity.
Ayton is one of the best rebounders in the NBA. He currently ranks 10th in the league with a rebounds per-game average of 10.2. That's a little bit below our number, but he's grabbed 11.2 rebounds per game over his last 5 outings.
The former Arizona Wildcat has matched up well in the past against the Nets. The last time he played Brooklyn on January 19th, he easily eclipsed this total by grabbing 14 rebounds. We think Ayton can repeat that performance tonight, especially since Brooklyn only ranks 30th in the league in rebounding.
