Friday night NBA action will likely be overshadowed by the conclusion to the first round of the NCAA basketball tournament, and there is money to be made in the prop market.

Eight games are on the schedule tonight, and teams may be less likely to rest their stars heading into the weekend with only a few more weeks remaining in the regular season. Several teams within a game of the final playoff positions will hit the court tonight, including Washington, New Orleans, Chicago, and the Lakers.

Teams with playoff aspirations will be balancing the need to keep their guys healthy while keeping pace in the jumbled standings within each conference. We’ve got three PrizePicks player props in tonight’s NBA action that are presented next.

Tyrese Maxey OVER 20.5 Points

Maxey has been brilliant for a surging Philadelphia team in the Eastern Conference. He’s shooting 57% from the floor, 56% from three-point range, and hasn’t missed a free throw in eight games this month. Maxey’s also playing 35 minutes per game for a team that has won seven of their last eight games.

Teammate James Harden has leaned into his role as the playmaker in the 76ers offense of late, opening up ample scoring opportunities for Maxey. Harden is averaging 11.5 assists in his last eight games and has six games with 10+ dimes in that stretch.

Maxey will take advantage of a poor defensive unit in Charlotte tonight, with Harden facilitating plenty of good looks for the young guard. Take the Over!

Stephen Curry UNDER 29.5 Points

Curry has already ripped off two games of 40 points or more in March, including a 50-point effort during a loss to the Clippers on Wednesday night. Usually, Curry would have the luxury of resting for a Friday night road game in mid-March, especially since he’s dealing with a sore thumb on his left hand.

The Warriors are a game ahead of the Timberwolves and Mavericks for the sixth spot in the West, and their record in away games this season is tied for 3rd-worst in the league.

He’s played 36.2 minutes per game in six appearances this month, and we expect he’ll need to go again tonight as part of Golden State’s playoff push. This minutes-laden stretch of recent games makes Curry hitting the 30-point mark tonight just a bit out of reach, and we’ll play the under accordingly.

Evan Mobley OVER 10.5 Rebounds

The second-year power forward for this legitimately good Cavaliers team has continued to be an important cog in what makes Cleveland worthy of a top-four seed in the loaded Eastern Conference. Mobley’s 34.2 minutes per game are the third-most on the team this season, and that may increase tonight.

Starting center Jarrett Allen will miss his fourth straight game Friday night against Washington due to an issue with his eye, and we predict this will translate to a big game on the boards for Mobley.

The USC product snagged 12 rebounds in a home loss to Philadelphia on Wednesday, a performance he should duplicate tonight. This is another Over that we're quite fond of.
