We're fresh off a 3-0 sweep and looking to stay hot in the Association! Bam Adebayo was a force down low for the Heat last night, and he easily eclipsed his point total. Both Jrue Holiday and Spencer Dinwiddie did their parts by staying under their respective rebounds and assists numbers.

It always feels good to sweep the board, but sports betting is a "what have you done for me lately type of business." So with that, it's time to break down tonight's 8-game NBA board.

Here are 3 PrizePicks NBA Props for Friday, February 3. Let's do this! Best of luck with all of your picks this weekend.

Trae Young OVER 9.5 Assists

Young has been looking more like the guy that dominated during the NBA Playoffs a few years ago. He's averaging 11.6 assists over his last 5 games and has comfortably gone over this total in each of those outings.

We don't see that trend changing tonight against Utah. The Jazz are 23rd in the league in points allowed, so Young should be able to find some open teammates in this one. We like how Caesars juices this Over at -145, which tells us we're on the right track.

Some season metrics also support a play on the Over. Young is averaging 9.9 assists per game for the year and 9.8 on the road. It wouldn't surprise us if Young ends up with around 12 assists tonight, so take the Over!

Fred VanVleet OVER 21.5 Points

This one all comes down to the matchup. VanVleet and the Raptors will be facing one of the worst overall defenses tonight in the Rockets. Houston ranks just 22nd in defensive efficiency, so VanVleet could have a field day with lots of open looks.

VanVleet is also in great current form. He's gone over this point total in 7 of his last 9 games. He's averaging 22.8 points per game over his last 5. That's quite a few factors in our favor.

The 7-year NBA veteran from Wichita State has also done quite well of late against Houston. He scored 32 against the Rockets back on November 9. He's also gone over this point total in 3 straight against them.

Fred VanVleet UNDER 4.5 Rebounds

We don't typically like to bet on the same player twice, but rules are made to be broken. As bad as Houston's defense is, they are one of the top rebounding teams in the NBA. The Rockets rank 3rd in rebounds per game, which is pretty impressive.

This means that VanVleet probably won't do too much on the glass tonight. He's stayed under this rebounds total in 24 of 44 games this season. He's also grabbed 4 boards or less in 5 of his last 7.

The last time VanVleet faced off against Houston, he only finished with 3 rebounds. We're expecting a similar outcome in tonight's matchup. Play the Under!
