Calipari and his Wildcats finished 21-10 on the year and 12-6 in the conference, which was good enough to get the 3 seed in this tournament and a double bye. They are likely to face Vanderbilt in the quarterfinals. They just lost to the Commodores at home last week, 68-66.
Despite dominating on the boards, they could not shoot better than 32.2% from the field. Jordan Wright lit them up for 23 points and 4 boards. We don’t expect them to shoot this badly once again against Vandy. After all, they are 14th in the country in adjusted offensive efficiency.
Oscar Tshiebwe, last year’s player of the year, has not been able to replicate his performance from last season. However, he still leads the Cats in points (16.4), rebounds (13.1), and blocks (1.0) per game.
As a team, Kentucky leads the conference in offensive and defensive rebounding. They have won 5 of their last 6 and look like the team many expected to see at the beginning of the season. They are more than capable of cutting down the nets in Nashville.

20-11 and 10-8 in the conference, the Tigers find themselves seeded 7th in the SEC tournament. They have an initial game with 10-seeded Arkansas. They defeated the Hogs 72-59 when Arkansas was #13 in the country.
They would then meet with Texas A&M, who they lost to in both previous meetings this season. It was just a 2-point game with under 2 minutes left in College Station before the Aggies pulled away. The Tigers certainly have the ability to knock them off in the 3rd meeting.
Johni Broome has scored in double figures in 6 straight games as he leads the Tigers with 14 points per game and 8 boards. Wendell Green Jr has been inconsistent, but when he is on, he is on!
He’s had games for 24, 23, and 24 in his previous 7 while also struggling with games of 9, 9, 5, and 5 during the same stretch. If he can play consistently in this tourney, the Tigers have a real shot.

Missouri is the 4 seed in this SEC tourney, yet we are getting them at an exorbitant number. We simply can not pass it up. They have a double bye and then likely will face Tennessee in the quarterfinals, which they defeated on the road earlier this season.
They would then face Alabama if they are not to get knocked off by the winner of Miss St/Florida. Bama has been playing terribly and would be ripe for an early exit here.
Missouri is 9th in the country in adjusted offensive efficiency, which is by far the best in the conference. They have won 4 straight games and have decent momentum heading into the postseason tournament.
Kobe Brown is the senior leader for the Tigers with a 15.9ppg and 6.2rpg average. This value on the Tigers is certainly worth a dart.
