As we move into 2022 and hopefully further out of the global pandemic we have been in for the last two years, our sports calendar will finally have a typical year. Hopefully, there will not have to be any abbreviated seasons and much fewer game postponements and cancellations, as we have seen, occur in the last two seasons in pretty much every pro and college sport.
There are many significant events planned for 2022, with many of the same notable ones that occur every single year. Then others like the World cup and the Winter Olympics only happen every four years. Between the special events occurring in 2022 and sports gambling being legalized in several new US states, 2022 is shaping up to possibly be the biggest sports betting year in history.
Let us take a look at the 2022 calendar regarding most of the major sporting events that can be bet on. Everything from the tennis and golf majors to the Super Bowl and NBA championship. Some events’ locations and dates are set already, while others like the World Series or NBA Championship have tentative dates, but we will have to wait and see what teams will qualify.
