Our prop plays all looked pretty solid heading into Sunday’s final round. Unfortunately, we had a rough final day. Gary Woodland shot +8 on Saturday and +3 on Sunday to cost us our top 40 ticket on him.

Russell Henley was flirting with the top 20 but shot just +1 on Sunday and dropped to 45th. Viktor Hovland shot even par on Sunday and finished one spot out of the top 20.

JT never had a chance at the top 10, but at least Tyrell Hatton held on to finish 13th and cash our plus money ticket on him to finish in the top 20.

This week the Tour heads to Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton Bermuda for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Lucas Herbert, last year’s champion, is not in the field here. However, Brian Gay, the 2021 champion is in the field and will be looking to add to his trophy case.

Top 40: Kramer Hickock

Best Available Odds: +135 at FanDuel

Kramer started the season on the right foot. He shot 7 under for a 25th-place finish at the Fortinet Championship. He has since missed the cut in his next 2 starts but has a great history here at the Bermuda Championship.

His worst finish here at Port Royal is 30th place in last year’s tournament. Previous to that he carded an 8th-place finish and a 15th finish. We believe Hickock will get back to some solid play and finish inside the top 40 here again.

Top 40: Brian Gay

Best Available Odds: +160 at DraftKings

This will be Gay’s 1st start of the season on Tour. And what better way to kick off his 2022-2023 season than at a course where he has won in the recent past?

In 2021, Gay took down the Bermuda Championship after finishing 3rd the year prior. Last year he finish 12th and with a track record like that at Port Royal, we will happily back him here at almost 2 to 1 for the top 40 finish.

Top 40: David Hearn

Best Available Odds: +240 at FanDuel

Just like Brian Gay, this will be David Hearn’s 1st start of his 2022-2023 campaign. Prior to last year’s start, Hearn had posted back-to-back 8th-place finishes at the Bermuda Championship.

Last year he still finished inside the top 40, but barely, with a 39th-place finish. We are getting over 2 to 1 on him to do the same again this year.

Top 20: Russell Knox

Best Available Odds: +170 at BetMGM

Knox finished just outside the top 20 in his 1st 2 starts of this season at the Fortinet and Sanderson Farms. He has not been playing great over his last 2 starts with 6 rounds totaling 5 over par.

That said, Knox has been extremely consistent here at the Bermuda Championship over the last 3 years. He has finished 11th, 16th, and 12th respectively and we feel good about backing him here to do more or the same.

Top 20: Seamus Power

Best Available Odds: +140 at DraftKings

Seamus is off to a mediocre start to this season but we believe this is a spot where he can finally break out. He finished 31st and then 37th prior to last year’s finish of 12th.

He is primed to get back inside the top 20 again this season and we believe he will be in contention for the final round on Sunday.
