2 PrizePicks NBA Props for Saturday, April 29

There's only 1 game on Saturday's NBA Playoff card, but it's a pretty sweet matchup. Phoenix will head to Denver in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals. The Nuggets are currently a 2.5-point favorite, and the total is sitting at 226.

Will Nikola Jokic and company hold serve on their home court? Or will Devin Booker and Chris Paul simply be too much for this Nuggets' defense? Denver was 34-7 at home during the regular season, so that's something to consider if you're wanting to bet the side.

Here are 2 PrizePicks NBA Props for Saturday, April 29. Let's get both of these in the W column! Good luck with all of your weekend action!

Jamal Murray OVER 22.5 Points

Murray is the basketball equivalent of Leonard "Playoff Lenny" Fournette in football. The 26-year-old shifts his scoring into high gear when the playoffs roll around, and this year is no different. Murray averaged just 20 points per game during the regular season, but he's averaging 27.2 during the playoffs. That obviously favors an Over in a big way in this game.

Checking into Murray's career resume in the playoffs makes us like this pick even more. The former Kentucky Wildcat is averaging 24.7 points per game in 38 career playoff games. When the lights are the brightest, this kid knows how to kick it up a notch.

We have some market support on our side as well with this play. PointsBet, Unibet, and FanDuel are all pricing this at 23.5 instead of 22.5. Underdog is also a half-point higher at 23. DraftKings has this at 22.5, but they're juicing the Over at -140. Let's roll with the Over!

Devin Booker UNDER 2.5 Made 3-Pointers

Booker lit it up from downtown against the Clippers, but things won't be that easy against this Nuggets squad. Denver ranks 3rd in the NBA at defending 3-point shots, which tells us that Booker won't get as many open looks from beyond the arc.

During the regular season, Booker only averaged 2.1 made 3-pointers per game. He also stayed under this total in 39 of 53 regular season games. It's tough to fade a star player that's in good current form, but we think the Under is the best way to go here.

One of Denver's defensive weaknesses is that they struggle to limit points in the paint. The Nuggets rank 21st in paint points allowed. Look for Phoenix to get the ball down low early and often, which should result in fewer three-point shots for Booker and company. Let's play the Under!
